Well, I've been back now a couple days from the big wedding. I promised at one point that I'd post a pic of "the dress" when I had one, so here goes...
I'm the one on the left. The handsome man in the tux next to me is DH. I know the picture's a bit on the dark side, but it's the best we have for now.
My weight loss goal for the wedding was 50 pounds, which I made just 3 days before the event. My new mini goal is to be in ONEderland by New Year's Eve, which is only 19 pounds away (114 days). I also rededicated myself to riding the exercise bike, and I hope that will pick up the pace for dropping pounds again.
Thanks, ladies, for all your support! I'd have never squished into that thing without yas!
Oh my gosh! You look so beautiful! Congrats on meeting your goal! You're gonna need a new dress for New Year's! =) You and your DH look so happy. Congrats again!
Monica, I think you look not only gorgeous and stunning (what a dress!), but so very, very happy, and that's the best part. : Your DH is one lucky man, and he looks like he knows it.
WOW! You look fantastic! That dress is sooooo amazing, too! Good job on making your goal! We need to be Central Illinois Exercise Bike Weightloss Buddies, because I have to get my @$$ back on it again, too. Good luck with the ONEderland goal, and keep up the good work!
Aww...you all are good for a girl's ego, ya know it? Thanks, everyone.
Weezle, tonight is my second night in a row of riding 2 whopping miles on the bike... Before I stopped riding back in May (I think), I was doing 6 miles a night, but 2 is about all I can do now without an oxygen tank standing by. Methinks I have some serious work to do in building my muscles back up...
Anyway, I'm off to bed early. I've got to be on the road early tomorrow to make it in time for my oldest nephew's tonsillectomy. He's a very brave 7-year-old, but his auntie's moral support was requested, and I can't ever say no to him.
Thanks again for brightening my day, ladies! G'night!
Lots of prayers for your nephew's tonsilectomy! I had one a couple years ago and it is one painful surgery! I hope that you guys have access to a slushie machine! Keep him hydrated.
And I think you're a wonderful auntie for going to be with him! :
