Oddly enough, DH doesn't have a middle name either. In any case, you are welcome to it.

We had a bit of a wrap-up last night and are at least 2/3 done, so no problem. Now, I have to worry about the food shopping. The shops close early on the 24th, are closed 25th and 26th, and of course on Sundays in general, so I need to take that into account.

Sorry to hear about your attack of Grinchitis. I will attempt to write you a limerick to cheer you up:

There once was a woman called Snark
Whose holiday cheer had turned dark
Someone said "Hey Michelle,
let's sing Jingle Bells!"
So someone got fed to a shark.

LOL, awesome limerick!

Sharks with frickin laser beams attached their heads -- is that too much to ask, people?

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Susan!

(STILL haven't wrapped. gah.)

Happy Thingmas, everyone.

So. I went with gift bags. Lots and lots of gift bags. Seriously, SO MUCH EASIER.

I regret nothing.

I thought about just doing a drive by and pelting people with their gifts, but I felt that it might be inappropriate somehow. And some of the presents had sharp edges, soooooo, I restrained myself. So proud.

Everything is winding down here. We're watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Netflix, which is most definitely NOT Christmas fare. I think that means the holiday is officially OVER.

Hope yours was bright!

Bags! What a clever idea! I hear you on the drive-by gifting; family hols were so traumatic when I was a kid that I literally didn't celebrate for several years after I moved out. This year, I managed to spend the them with NO extended family whatsoever, and it was bliss! Just the five (six, if you count the cat) of us.

We're watching the hairy bikers in asia, and dreaming of lighter fare in the new year.

And we just got the first snow of the year. I effing hate snow, BUT, the offspring is happy, so I'm happy for them.

Time to crank up when harry met sally and prepare the cheese board for NYE. Then, no eating till valentine's day.

How's you?

Someone please come and take down my tree, thank you.

Also, the fireworks are making me crazy. If my dogs aren't happy, then I'm not happy. And my dogs definitely aren't happy with fireworks. Neighbors have already been shooting them off for days, enough already.

Yes, my curmudgeonlyness is obviously on a roll. And not a delicious pumpernickel onion type roll, either.

Did Santa treat you good?
