Yay for apples!

I just finished on the treadmill, it was one of the very rare times I did not enjoy running, my whole body feels like I'm a big floppy bag of wet and cranky cement. But I got it done, and that's what counts. I always like to think of bad runs as counting double in the good health karma department.

Good job maintaining, Cattails! Your meals made me think I need to get my spiralizer out and do some zucchini noodles, I'd like to combine your dinner and lunch menu as: spicy thai peanut sauce with cabbage and tofu over zuchhini noodles.

Gosh that sounds good, I need someone to come make that for me.

Feeling like I've been MIA; just super busy. I'm confident that I will meet my goal (below my starting weight of 162) but I don't know by how much. I haven't been able to keep below 155; still trying to figure out new habits to go along with the new job... anyway, I will be back in the AM to post my weight.

Fingers crossed for all!

Still no power. I am starting to get super irritated.

No weigh in for me, I am at my inlaws.

Anyone interested in a new challenge/accountability thread?

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it!

Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

Sum -- I'm sorry you're still powerless! Hang in there! And yes, I'll join you on the new challenge thread as well!

Me and hubby just biked 13.35 miles in major wind, so I am feeling virtuous. This day, 11 years ago, darling hubby proposed to me, so we are having a fun, romantic day together.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

I hope everyone had a terrific Christmas!

Mrs Snark, you are more than welcome to combine and adapt my meals! Everything is good with spicy peanut sauce, isn't it? And how wonderful that your DH made Christmas Eve a special day for you always.

Sum, here's hoping your power is back by now. A new challenge thread is definitely in order!

Heidi, yay on meeting your challenge! Oo, kayaking sounds like great fun - cold, but fun!

Well, I weighed in yesterday at 119 - eek, higher than I'd like to see but still under 120, so I met my goal as well. Didn't weigh in this morning; hopefully there's not more damage ensuing. Wouldn't be too surprising though, with all the Christmas yummies abounding! Must stay strong, must maintain control... I got a pomegranate tart from Costco to serve after dinner today. It looked so pretty! But was waay to sweet for my liking. After a small piece, my stomach hurt for a few hours. I won't make that mistake again.

Happy Holidays to ALL

Sum sorry about the electricity, hope it comes back on soon. I'm gonna have to go back and catch up on what happened. I'd love to participate in another challenge with you all Eventhough I'm not as disciplined as you all are, smh

Heidi I think you'll get back to 155 quickly

Michelle … love to hear about romance and romantic days, they make my heart happy

Cattails 119 that's great. How low do you want to go weight wise?

I've been MIA and it has shown in my weigh in's for sure. Weighed in this morning at 180.2. So my goal now is to get back to my ticker weight before the 1st. IF I eat right I'll do it for sure.

I think I failed this challenge. At thanksgiving I was 154 pounds, on Xmas morning I was 155 pounds....well the Valentine's Day challenge will be better, right? Maybe I have finally left the 150's behind for good (even though it feels I am destined to stay at 150 range for ever).

Rennie, I'm pretty happy being anywhere between 110 and 119 lbs. My current daily diet keeps me feeling well, and my current level of exercise is good - keeps my metabolism humming along and my body in shape without overdoing things. I like the way I look and just don't really want to go to any great lengths to get and stay super-skinny, so I'm officially maintaining. My goal for this challenge was to stay under 120 so I was successful in that.

I'm totally in awe of you ladies who are working at losing during the holidays. In my book, staying at the same weight or very, very close this month is a real accomplishment! After all the Christmas goodies are gone, there's time enough to buckle down and get some pounds off. Keep heart, you can do this!
