I feel for you. My Mother has always been one to speak her mind. There is no censoring chip in her brain. It was once quirky, charming and funny. Now it is just obnoxious. And I get it in stereo. My Sister is becoming the same way but with more venom.
I have decided not to discuss my weight loss journey with them. My previous attempts have been sabotaged by both. They try to feed me bad things and they say discouraging things.
Don't get me wrong. I love them dearly. But I know now to avoid certain situations and conversations with them.
Don't let the Old Lady get you down. You deserve praise and an occasional cookie.
