Well, day one is about over! I was amazed at how hard it is to eat so many veggies! I went shopping to get more variety. I will definitely need to come up with some new recipes. I am so happy to have started. Thank you Moving Forwar
d for the encouragement. It helps to know others have done it.

Dak-I predict you will come to love veggies, as I have. The more you eat them the better they are. try roasting, we sometimes cook the steamer veggies, then roast in the oven a little bit with some spices, awesome.
Also, I try not to worry too much about dressings, if they're helping me eat veg instead of something else, it's good in my book.

Thanks kelijpa for the ideas about roasting my veggies and using dressings. I made chicken soup for dinner and added all the veggies i would need. It was so good, but man-o-man am i full. I was impressed with myself since i got to count water in my soup as part of my daily intake.

A friend suggested scrambled eggs with turkey and maybe veggies. So, i will try that tomorrow. I find i don't like the IP food but i can handle the drinks pretty well so i am doing those and the snacks.

I am curious if anyone else has had problems with (i want to put this delicately) loose stools? I can't stray far from the bathroom. It's terrible! Any suggestions?

Dak--You're welcome! I agree with Kelijpa that you will take on a whole new appreciation for veggies. I'm eating so many more fruits and veggies now. They have been my low calorie life savers that have allowed me to feel full while eating low cal. I'm not doing IP, nor have I had the same problem you are having. I'm sure that your body will adjust. You might want to post that question on the IP board to get more responses though.

Well....day 3 and i am down 5 lbs! I can't even believe it. I cannot believe how such a small amount has affected my attitude!

I have been able to drink all the required water. That was a concern, since i don't like water. I have cotton mouth today and my mouth tastes icky so i think i am in ketosis?! Yay!

I made scrambled eggs with turkey, mushrooms, and spinach for dinner and it was delicious! I never thought i could eat an omelet or eggs without cheese but it was sooooo good! Finally something yummy. I need to try stuffed peppers next. I might just be able to do this!

This site is so awesome. Everyone is so supportive. I have never told anyone what i weigh. It is just so embarrassing that i have gotten to this weight, as no one in my family has ever been overweight. I only told my husband Monday when i started so he could understand my goal. He loves me no matter what, but i really want to feel attractive again.

Can't wait to lose the weight.
