Hey everybody! Spent the day in bed yesterday with a migraine and am spending my day today playing catchup. Another pound down last week (which is way too slow I think). I'm going to catch up with all of your later tonight. Hope you all are doing well!

Hello everyone...I haven't been here in a while. Major stress going on in my life...needless to say I haven't made any progress. I'm thinking of going on a fast, does anyone have one that they recommend? I need to jumpstart my weight loss. I feel so uncomfortable in my clothes...bloated and sloppy......

What a wonderful sunshiney day! I so want to be outside instead of stuck in the office!

Weigh in day today. Woohoo, down 1.4 pounds. I was getting so tired of those point something pound weeks. I'm almost at the 10 pound mark. Finally! Only .2 away. My ticker shows 10 because it doesn't seem to recognize the point either! lol

Chica, nice to hear from you. Sorry to hear your having stress in your life. Kristiina was talking about IF a few days ago. It sounds like she was having some pretty good success with it.

Cldwv, great job! You're so close to that 20 pound mark. You have to be very excited by that. My weight loss is taking a lot longer than I thought it would too. My first few weeks I had some pretty good losses, then it went to weeks of .2, .4 & .6 I was so happy to have a 1.4 week this week.

Have a great day.

Zumbachica; I am doing IF and absolutely loving it (for the moment ) It jump started my weigh loss again. There is a thread called eat-stop-eat...wonderful ladies!! So much info and support. I fast each day 17-19 hours and eat 5-7 hour window. 2 X week I fast 24 hours; dinner to dinner. I think I may have a 5 pound loss for this month because of IF. -- I also love eating big meals, but because I only eat a few hours per day those big meals make me happy and my body shed some weight.

Kim;
I don't want to go back to 50's....I just read that this weather beat all mathematical odds... lol and YAY for the 1.4 pounds!

cldwv migranes SUCK! I used to have really bad ones until I had my kids, and then they went away. I used to say I do not hate anyone enough to wish one upon them! Sorry

guacamole!

Hello, everyone! So glad that people are having success! My husband and I bought bicycles today! I am very excited - I love the outdoors and cycling is a good low impact exercise that shouldn't hurt my back. I got an upright mountain bike - not a racer bike that you have to hunch over to grab the handle bars. We took the bikes for a test spin around the park near the bike shop and it felt good to ride again. Maybe this will be the kick start I need to start exercising regularly. I had an odometer put on the bike so that I can track my distance and progress.

Hope everyone is having a successful day!

Guac, glad you got a bike. I so love riding. I need to look into getting an odometer on my bike. It may be much easier than trying to retrace my route with my car to determine how far I ride. (Yes I've done that lol)

Kristiina, I hear you on that. I love this weather we're having. But 50's in March is still most excellent! Thanks for the congrats. I noticed you're kicking butt in your exercise goal! At the rate you're going you'll hit your goal for the year for sure. Keep up the great work!

Chica, good luck with whatever you do. Keep hanging in there.

Have a wonderful day.

Quick check-in - hope that everyone is doing well and migraines and stress levels are kept at bay for you gals suffering!

I went bike riding with the family yesterday evening and it was so nice! We had so much fun. I am definitely sore this morning - but sore in my upper back which is new for me, so I am pretty sure it is sore muscles. I am off to physical therapy now!

Have a great day, everyone!

There's no way I'll make goal. Bummer It's slow but steady so I guess I should be pleased with that. Hope you all have a nice weekend!

Same here! It was fast at first but I'm averaging about 1/1.4 a week steadily now. You know what they always say, it's a marathon not a sprint ;-)

I am in the same boat as all of you with slow and stalled weight loss! I did so well in February, but March has been a bust. I seem to be going through PMS for a full week or week and a half - I am so bloated and crampy and TOM still hasn't arrived! I didn't weight myself last week due to PMS bloating and I'm not going to weigh in this week either, because I don't need to be depressed! Usually by the third day into my period the bloating is gone and I am feeling back to normal. I just need TOM to arrive already!

We still have a week left to make our goals or get closer to them - let's do our best and end March on a high note!

Best laid plans....after a big family dinner last night and a huge multi-course lunch at a friend's house today, my eating has been horrible. TOM arrived and lots of chocolate has been consumed. Really, I have been out of control for the past 24 hours! Aaarggghhh.... Let's hope tomorrow is better.

Hope you all are having a better day.

Hello, everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I am back on track this Monday. I didn't do too badly yesterday either, but Friday and
Saturday were not good. I went bike riding with the family yesterday and we rode 2.6 miles (nice to have an odometer!). My sciatic nerve down my left leg is killing me! I am really worried that the electrotherapy the physical therapist used is causing me this new painful problem. She didn't do the electrotherapy last week because of my reaction and she spent lots of time doing deep tissue massage, but the problem has not gone away. Ugh. On the bright side, I am working through it and not letting it stop me from stretching and biking and doing basics around the house.

Hope we all have an on-plan day today!
