Good morning, again.

I'm at work, so I can type now.

That's the problem with kitteh apps: once you install a kitteh app in your home, it doesn't turn off. It may go into sleep mode, but it becomes active again very quickly. Teh kittehs, dey maeks life interesting.

Okay, so as I was trying to say before: down another pound, yay! Ate to plan yesterday. Had a really good work out this morning.

Have a great day, everyone.

Mirj-I just had to visit your blog and just had to click on the link you put there regarding your birthday cake and just had to read that orange cake recipe....you should be ashamed!! BTW, I plan on baking my own birthday cake on Sunday myself. I'll ice it Mon. evening and we will eat it on Tues. I'm going full fat/sugar on it....hope that isn't a mistake.

Kitteh-I used to have a cat that would jump right up and plant in the middle of the newspaper while I was reading it. They are interesting creatures. CONGRATS on the loss!!

My scale said either 150 or 152 depending on how I stood on it this morning. I may look into a new scale soon. I want it to be accurate. Did a good 3 mile walk this morning (45 minutes).

Have a good day everyone!

Freakin crappy weather, it is throwing me off alot. I like routine and I like my lunch work out, to cold and windy to go out today -23 and with the wind like -32. When it goes on like this for a while it gets really hard to stay focused, that sounds dumb. Stayed on plan yesterday and walked indoors. If all my family wasn't here I would move somewhere else, so on the bright side I have my family here and I am very thankful for that.
forgot my peice of bread for my sandwhich today so i have chicken and spinach and nothing to put it on...... and I have chocolate........... oh bother....

Hello, all! Just checking in very quickly with a "HI!!" ... back from our "honeymoon" which sounds a lot more romantic than us walking from about 8 or 9 a.m. until close to 10:30 or 11 p.m. with breaks for dinner and sometimes lunch. Wonderful trip - I just LOVE Italy ... most of it.

Back to an onslaught at work with 523 emails to get through. Will weigh this weekend and see the damage. don't want to think about that yet. ... Ate pizza nearly daily - different as it's super duper thin crust and little cheese - but still...

Will catch up on a few pages of the blog and jump back in here! After a terrible trip to the airport on our way out, which included passing a terrible wreck with blood all over the snow/ice which really made me worry, all went great once we were airborn.

Annie- thanks, I know spring will really help me. I can't wait!

It is a beautiful day here, 55 degrees & sunny. It feels warmer, I turned the heat off & opened all the windows, the fresh air is wonderful! Rode the bike for 25min., then went for a walk for 30min. Tomorrow will be 65 degrees, can't wait. I need spring to keep my mind off of food, it's working for now. When it gets cold again, I'll probably start eating junk again. My calories will be right on track today, if I go over, it will be because of eating too much fruit. Have alot of cleaning to do too today, so I know I won't get to sit til 8pm. tonight as usual. Lost more weight, finally under 110lbs. Now I just gotta stay on plan so I can keep losing.

Default Nationalparker!

I LOVE Italy - i did the same thing when i went though - tons and tons of walking! Still gained a good 5 lbs on the trip thoug - the food and wine was fabulous too!

Where did you go? I spent 3 weeks - one in Rome / one in Positano and one in Florence - had a fabulous time - went in late May - early June year before last and can't wait to go back - thinking Venice / Milan this time.

Exercise went well this am - did my 1.5 mile walk in addition - hope to get one more of those in this afternoon too but may not due to "meetings"...

food going ok today - so that's good! Haven't dared step on a scale but am actually wearing a non "pull on" pair of pants today! so things appear to have started moving in the right direction!

NP, glad to have you back. Glad you had a good time.

I haven't exercised in a few days and wont' today either. tomorrow for sure!

Hubby was offered a new job. Its a slight promotion, but he would work afternoons. We aren't sure how that would work out, or his days off. But we're praying about it and going to talk it out more tonight over dinner. I have my Sit and Knit tonight, I haven't been in a few weeks so I'm looking forward to that. Hubby will go over to his parents to fix their car.

Just popping in to say hello. I've stayed more or less on plan with food. Hiked 4 1/2 +/- miles in soupy goopy mud and thigh high snow on Sunday. There was no wind at the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. It's an hour away, but worth the drive. The rest of the week, it's been too windy here or I've had too much to do so not much exercise. I think I'm ready for spring too.

We're having lentil and sweet potato stew for dinner tonight. Dark brown (rye? Pumpernickel?) rolls with a little avocado for the good fat instead of butter or margarine.

I'm exvcited because some of the people Robert work with told him about a produce co-op here in town. I didn't know htere was one and have been wishing for sokething like that. I guess it's been around a year or thereabouts maybe. Anyhow, we signed up and pick up our fist basket on Saturday and then I'll make my new menu and think of what to make with the produce. Hope there's stuff I like or can fid a way to cook so I like it. I think I missed the vegetbale of the week for "B". I couldn't remember anythign and today I thought of brussels sprouts. I didn't like them much, but have since found 2 ways to cook tem. With mustard. With center cut bacon and onion. And now I like 'em.

What letter are we on now?

Barb

Happy Friday, everyone.

This has been a really good week for exercise. I had another good workout this morning. I've been extending my time at the gym also, tacking on another 15 minutes. Down another half a pound this morning. I think I can see -20 on the horizon. Maybe another two weeks, if I can keep up this pace of exercise and eating to plan.

No time to catch up on personals today. I'll try to catch up over the weekend.

Have a great day.

Hubby decided to put in for the job. So now we just have to wait and see. The man that offered it to him has to clear it with 'the powers that be'. it is with the same company. Best news I've heard all day is that he won't have to make those stupid 'roadtrips' out of town!

Hope to get on here a bit more this weekend ... been busy with trying to catch up at work and at home. Skipping (most likely) WW this weekend, but back on track now, but don't want to get mentally hammered with a higher weight following the trip/flight. Did measurements, though, and was down an inch on my waist, so excited about that. UP a 1/4 inch on my thighs and no matter how many times i re-measured, I couldn't lose it so not sure what THAT'S all about! ha!

Will hit the market for good stuff tomorrow, and will get back out on the trail with the pooch for a good walk. How come they SO QUICKLY forget how to walk on leash? I need to take her to obedience class, I think ... to teach me and her how to get her better at walking on leash. Will get that gentle leader harness first and see if that works, though... the one that doesn't let her pull. (or maybe I get skates and just let her pull me??) ha ha!

Hope everyone is doing great! We're having a warmup in temps for two days and I'm all excited. Opened the kitchen to air out the house last night for an hour or so... nice!

What's your biggest challenge this weekend?? Anyone facing tough stuff?

Morning,

Well another day of no exercise, I am getting discouraged cause last week i was full steam ahead and really working hard and eating well and even feeling stronger from taking it up a nocth then this cold spell, has done me in a little and discourage for not being able to get out. I will do my eliptical this weekend to get back on track.

NP - welcome back your trip sounds like it was amazing.

Angels, - B for brussel sprouts growin up i would swallow them whole so I would not have to chew them to taste them and if I added mustard I would certainly lose my appetite and lose weight... hope that goes well for you lol,

Kittie - way to go on the exercise and and weigh in good job.

Hubby is looking at an opportunity in LA at the dream center for 9 months to a year.... I think I would die if I could not see him for that long......... I know what it is like to be single for years and years but I know this is a great opportunity too. I think I could dedicate that time to myself and work my butt off,,, litterally.

The weather is lovely! 67 degrees & sunny, I don't want it to go away! Tomorrow it's only gonna be 42 degrees & 45mi per hr. winds, not looking forward to that. We are going to another farmer's market tomorrow, it's only 25min. from our house. It has more of a relaxing country atmosphere, I enjoy it. The prices aren't as cheap on some of the fruit, so I'll get a little fruit there, then go to our local farmer's market to get the rest. Should be a fun day, I'm looking forward to it. I'm almost out of fruit, my breakfast is usually 6 servings of fruit w/ my fiber one cereal. I don't think I'll have enough. I eat more food & eat less calories than anyone here, it's all fruit, veggies, yogurt & lean protein. I feel like I over eat everyday, compared to them. But it works for me. Rode the bike for 30min. then went for a 30min.walk. Had 1320 calories, only 50 calories over my limit. I tried Yoplait Yogurt Delights(chocolate eclair flavor), it tasted just like chocolate pudding, i loved it. Now I know what to eat when those chocolate cravings kick in. They are 100 cal. & 1.5g. fat, but are only a 4oz size. Next time I'm trying the raspberry chocolate flavor. I lost another pound & am going for 107lbs. I haven't been there for months.

Things on track for me.

Had a week on my half marathon training program which involved two lots of sprint work amongst regular running (very foreign for me!), and just back from a lovely 13km run (about 8 miles??) with my friend. It was a bit hot with a lowest overnight temp of 77F and very humid too, but we set off at 0615 and it was good!

Also lost 2-3lb over the last few weeks, so i'm back to pre-xmas weight but still have another 4lb to go before being back to the weight i was in October.

Got this trip to China from Monday though, so who knows what my schedule will be like over there....
