CruiseCAT...I saw this on another site I visit. I haven't tried it but I thought I'd post it for you in case it is something you'd be interested in. The calorie count is what caught my eye.
Smarter Fettucine Alfredo
1/2 lb fettuccine, uncooked
1 1/4 cups fat free reduced sodium chicken broth, this is a little more than 1 can
4 tsp flour
1/3 cup Philadelphi 1/3 less fat cream cheese
3 Tbsp Kraft grated parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsely
Cook pasta according to directions.
Beat broth and flour in a medium saucepan with whisk until well blended. Add cream cheese, 2 Tbsp parmesan, nutmeg and pepper; cook 2 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, stirring constantly.
Drain pasta in a large bowl. Add sauce, toss to coat. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese and parsely.
4 servings, 1 cup each
