Afternoon all! Nice weekend here; beautiful weather. Today is gorgeous too. Three loads of laundry are on the line and am just waiting for the last one to finish up in the wash.
Slash -- ow, back problems. They are quite the bugger when they go out on ya, aren't they?

Clyde - Congrats on your loss!! Way to GO!

I hear ya about roller coasters. When I was 13 our church had their annual fair. My mom made open-faced roast beef sandwiches on bread for dinner (I seem to
always remember the food.

) After dinner we went to the fair and I got on the Scrambler. Let's just say that people who choose to wear sandals on rides that are conducive to vomiting are crazy!!!

And long hair doesn't fair well either!!
Cammie - yeah, I spent the weekend trying to get stuff done outside too. Still at it. I think the weeds are taking lessons from the rabbits and are reproducing at rapid rates.
Kim - how cute about the raccoon. I wonder if it was the same one? We get treeswallows and bluebirds every year. We have 2 boxes and they bicker over who will get which box. The bb's get really aggressive after their eggs are laid but the treeswallows are just the nicest birds. They look like they're swimming when the fly. And they look like they have fun when they fly too!
Droopy - how was the Tulip Fest? The rabbits ate all my crocus and tulips, except for one plant.
KimMN -

Glad to meet you! R.A. -- ooo, I know how awful this can be. My mom has it and has been on Remicad (sp?) for quite awhile. She had been on Vioxx but had bleeding problems. Constant pain. I hope you stay in remission. Well, even though you are just a sprout at 38 . . . . . ok, you can stay w/us, aaahhh "maturer" girls!
The college search is still on. Collegeboard dot com is a great site. It took me all day Friday, but I finally got the right parameters in for my search and found a few private schools that offer broadcasting. Need to set up some appointments to go see them. A bit of advice for anyone who will be doing college tours --
wear comfortable shoes and socks! Seems like a no brainer, doesn't it? I was fine w/the shoes (leather clogs) but I think I put my husband's socks on by mistake and got a blister under my big toe! Yes, yes I just don't pay attention sometimes!
Am off to tackle some more weeds and wash. Have a good afternoon and evenings all!!

Just an edit to post that a mom and dad goose and their three little babies just wandered into our neighbor's yard. I followed them down the street. Have no idea where they're heading; the babies aren't big enough to fly. I recorded them on our minidv camcorder. So very cute!!
