Hello! I just joined this forum tonight, and I am happy to have found you all! I am a recent South Beach convert, and so far, so good! I am really enjoying all of the food and the sheer variety of foods allowed on Phase 1. I hope to learn a lot from all of you! Thanks for having me!

Hi Stephanie! There is always room for new friends, but one of our Mods will tell you that you have to wait in line for a cabana boy. I'm still waiting. Have you lost all your weight on SBD?

Hi Chelby! And I was so looking forward to a cabana boy, too!

I lost my weight using the Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. I recently started SBD because I reached what I believe is a MAJOR plateau -- I originally got down to 193 pounds, but have gained back some pounds since fall. I'd like to start the losing process again, but I may have reached the mysterious set point!? At any rate, I made the leap to the beach, and I am really enjoying it! There is such a nice variety of foods, and I find that I am full when I eat, which is a nice feeing!

In the short time I've been here, I'm really enjoying reading the posts -- so much to learn and I love it! You can never have too much knowledge, right?

Nice to "meet" you!
