I was so excited tonight! I've been craving TGI Friday's Fried Green Beans (which, coincidentally, I have not had in over a year) and tried a recipe of my own. It's a keeper!
Ingredients
1 bag pre-cut and washed green beans
1 T olive oil
MRs. Dash (I used the onion and herb blend)
Dip1 T mayo
1 teaspoon of reduced sugar ketchup
1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar
wasabi to taste
S&P to taste
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Combine green beans, olive oil and Mrs Dash and spread on a cookie sheet. Cook in the oven for 10 minutes, flip and cook another 10 until dark brown in some areas. The darker they are they crispier (and also slightly bitter) they are. They also shrink up big time.
Combine the ingredients for the dip and stir together. I had some leftover wasabi packets from DW's sushi. I like spice so I added three.
I ate all the green beans and half the sauce. They were yummy! And totally curbed the craving.
