Hi Guys
Just wanted to check in and say hello. I am on my way out for a big ole shopping trip in a city about 2 hours away. 2 girlfriends and I are going so I am sure that I will be burning calories like mad. One of the girls is 6' tall and speed walks everywhere she goes. And man, when she hurries, I have to run!! Ammi, glad to hear that Beth is doing OK. Jen, Nice to see you.... I have to run... cars honking outside. Take care!!!

Good Morning Ladies: Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Looks like everyone is still away for the Thanskgiving holiday I hope everyone had a great holiday, and has a safe trip home.
My Thanksgiving was good, of course, im sure i ate too much, but i have been really trying to get back on track since then. Went to the grocery store last night, and stocked up on lots of healthy foods. I found a great day on Kashi cereal, i got it for 1.29 a box! For those of you that arent familiar with it, it is usually like 4.50 a box. It is a natural high fiber cereal, and some of the types of it, are really good!
There is no way i am going to attempt personals since i have been so lax on doing them this week, i will restart them this week though
Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Misti, I bet all those compliments made the 'stall' in your scales seem pretty unimportant!! Wearing smaller clothes is BRILLIANT too!!! I'm so glad it happened as if I were you I'd have been pretty fed up with the scales by now & probably given up! WTG!!!!xxxxx
Ammi, I hope Beth is still getting better and that she doesn't get any bruises. I've not looked at the pics yet, but will soon. So glad the tabs for your tongue are working! xxxx
Elaine, I remember you! Welcome back & I hope your guy continues to thrive. xxxxx
We went to a pantomime (traditional kid's play-Red Riding Hood) & party hubby's boss throws for the children of emplyees, so yesterday was pretty busy. I never even got on the pc!!!!! BUT I lost four pounds , so I was pretty pleased, though they came off by Tuesday and stayed the same throughout the week! I'm still glad though. It was brilliant to see Gareth actualy playing with other kids, he semed 'normal' which was a great relief to us, as in previous years he screamed or cried quite a lot of the time and clung on to daddy for dear life! All in all it was a pretty good day, and I'm realising how I SHOULD feel, I knew I was normally quite happy and calm, it's great to be that now. I'm only just realising how horrible I felt before.
Well I have to catch up on yesterday's housework and do some of tomorrow's as I have my eyes lasered tomorrow and they might be blurry for a few hours/the rest of the day. I'm scared and excited, anyone who has to 'feel' for their glasses in a morning will understand how impotant good eyesight is, hopefuly mine will be good enough to never need glasses/contacts again! I'm worried the op won't go ahead coz my eyes will be sore or something and scared that my eyes will be worse or I'l be blind , I know it's silly but any procedure has risks, but I'm thinking of the good bits, like seeing my boys first thing Christmas morning when they see their big train set & other presents AND not having to look/feel for those pesky glasses! And of course not 'steaming' up when open the oven to check on the turkey & duck I'll be cooking.

Good morning, everyone! Happy Sunday!

Brenda, hope you are able to keep up with that tall friend! That sounds like great exercise and fun at the same time. What a deal!!

Kymberly, glad you dropped in to give us an update! Glad you had a good Thanksgiving!

Sharon, that is great news about Gareth!! And hope your eye laser goes well! Please be sure to keep us updated when you are able! Congratulations on the 4 pound loss!

And yes, it is amazing even to me that I have not given up when I am not seeing much drop in the scales. They ARE going down but just very slowly and certainly not like they were when I started. But several people have made the comments lately... I was in Catherines to look for bras and other bargains and bought another 1X blouse on sale. Also I decided since these new pants are tight in the stomach and really show the flab I would buy a tummy shaper. A clerk was helping me and I started to go over to a display of larger size ones (I still don't "see" myself in the smaller sizes LOL). The clerk said "there is no way you can wear that style as they are all way too big for you... you definitely need the smallest size we have." WOW! And know what... she was RIGHT!!!! I almost feel like people think I am lying when I say I am wearing size Large pants or a 1X blouse. I still don't see it as being the truth. Anyway, I am absolutely determined not to give up, even if things are sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!! And now I have to get into those Medium pants I bought!

Patti, good job on losing another pound! Yippee for you!!!!

Everyone else... hang in there and stay OP!

Patti, you will make it! Just keep up the good work! And LOL I am anxious for the day I can get rid of these huge boobs and stomach!! I think that is one reason my scales are going down so slowly... the vast majority of what I still need to lose is in those two areas, rather than all-over. But let's just hang in there together... we will make it!!

Well, I've been reading here, but no time for personals -- though it's been quiet for a few days! It's also quiet on the exercise board, where we have fallen behind on our march to 200,000 minutes of exercise as a group. If anyone wants to help, come on over to the exercise thread, set a goal (even a small one) and get moving!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well!
