kenya- it's good to "see" you- I know you've been so busy since school stared- been missing you around here- good to see you are still doing well. If changing plans is what works for you-well, then, more power to you!!!
Stacey- I'm sure it must be frustrating, it sounds like you need a different doctor, as I don't think any plan is the right one for you if you haven't lost in 4 months, let alone gaining. As far as plans go there as such a variety on here. Jill does a plan were she eats specific foods daily for ...11 days? something like that and then has 3 days off. Ammi does WW and it works really well for her. Most others count calories, in their own ways...Katt did Jenny Craig and has just now switched to calories equal to what she ate on Jenny. I do nutrisystem. So as you can see, there are a lot of different methods, we all have to find what works for us, as do you- although I think I would throw away Southbeach!
As for weighing in some like to check their weight daily, but I think it's safe to say we all (mostly) weigh about 1x a week, and that's when we update our weight loss tickers and report our weigh-ins on the weeekly weigh in thread. I personally like to weigh only once a week, so I don't get frustrated by the fluctuations and I like to weigh on friday to keep me motivated for the weekend!
