Zelma- Congrats on the great bargain finds while you were shopping! I think you will look lovely in whatever you pick! I also like you thinking

Ammi- I would like to learn how to Ballroom dance like a pro I think that would be the first class I would want to take. I think it would be super fun. DH wants to learn how to Tango (which is a ballroom dance I think) and country line dance first. We are one silly couple However, we have fun just dancing around the house for now.

Wow ... this post is zippin again lol .. gordon bennett!

Okee... as I mentioned in a past post I did a good clean on Sunday morning . and the main reason was that my daughter had skipped school on Friday and I had been stewing about it lol .. usually I would have grabbed some chocolate but realised if I did that I would be letting someone elses actions sabotaging me .. wasnt willing to do that .. but when I get really peeved I clean until I feel better ... so there was the cleaning for an hour ... This morning (Monday) my daughter really got me on a bad foot (and considering she was walking a fine line for my patience after Friday that wasnt a good thing to do), so when I kicked her out to go to school (and told her if I hear she has missed she wont be sitting for a week) I started cleaning the rest of the house ... In the kitchen I did all the dishes, cleaned the oven (which is rarely used and I HATE cleaning it lol), had to use some elbow grease on the inside door which must have been missed when my daughter last did it .. grrr), swept the floors and cleaned the dogs food area. Cleaned and re-arranged the dining area, did the same in the lounge, by now I could feel the sweat going down my back but I was still miffed at her attitude lol ... so down to my bedroom I went and sorted out all the clothes from the washing I hadnt put away yet, remade the bed (turned the mattress etc), cleared all the rubbish and empty boxes out of the hall, sorted out the new washing to do and then I came back to the kitchen to get my breakfast - I didnt think I had taken all the long cos I was going quite fast lol .. but it was just after 10.30am!! And I started at 8.30am!

So will be thanking my daughter when she gets home .. right before I confirm that she is grounded for the next 2 weeks rofl.

Yupper Ammi .. me a Pogo girl .. NightkattNZ (used to be Nightkatt eons ago but forgot my password and which email addy by the time I got back online rofl) .. I used to play Canasta/Spades/Hearts HEAPS, and backgammon. I enjoy going for the badges the most lol .. I get the albums as my treat Would love a game with you some time .. Im on all different hours . so if I know a set time I make sure Im there ... even when its 2am here rofl.

My daughter is big on Sims .. I got them for her PC .. she has about 5 of the games I think ... she just got a GBA Micro tho so that is what she spends a lot of time on (Pokemon, Narnia, Scooby Doo are the games I have bought her).

Sooo its been a good day for exercise for me today .. bad one for food cos I missed breakfast I was soooo annoyed, but I had the cereal bar for morning tea lol .. have been drinking the water so that is good, just have some washing to get done but the weather has turned so cant hang it outside so instead I will just do the necessary or small things then I can use the clothes horses to pop them in front of the heater in the lounge (now that I have the space after cleaning rofl).

All those approaching TOM ... good luck lol .. and dont stress out too much, I am actually looking forward to having a regular TOM rather than having it 2-3 weeks then nothing for 5-6 weeks rofl .. can never plan anything. Remember to rant and not bottle things up .. not good for you

Great shopping Zelma .. Im sure you are getting very excited .. and regardless of where you come I still think youre a winner anyway! When I look at your before I just shake my head wondering where were you in all that? Definitely a huge change Well done and pop on your outfits, take some piccys and let us vote rofl

Im off to try to post some pics of my X stitches .. tried yesterday but it wouldnt work I kept on timing out :S Happy day all!

Just a quick drop by.

Kenya
, I would love to learn to ballroom dance. I love watching how glamorous and elegant the ballroom dancers are. Of course, I have two left feet, but I have told my husband that I want to learn how before my kids get married. They're 12 and 14, so I have a few years.

Norma, I have tried to teach myself how to crochet from books, but I just can't get the hang of it. I think I need to have someone show me in person. I never know if I'm doing it right and it doesn't really look like the pictures. Oh yeah, I saw a Pac-Man at a pizza place a couple of years ago, and it was 50 cents now instead of a quarter, so I think you're right in saying that nothing's a quarter anymore.

Ammi, You asked if this was the first time my weight loss slow downed and it is. Well, it slowed down in March because I was traveling a lot and having to eat out more, but I knew why it slowed down then. It started to slow down this summer and I was very much on plan and exercising as well. Before then I was averaging a little bit more than 2 lbs a week. The last two months, I've lost 14 lbs as opposed to the usual 20 lbs. So as I write this, I realize that it's not really a stall, it just wasn't as much as some previous months.

Well, I guess I'd better find something for us to eat for supper. It sure won't be anything fancy tonight. Today has been too busy.

Hello to everyone!

Ammi - I don't know when the next GTA is coming out....in Canada we have GTA 1-3, Vice City, and the newest one (which DH and I are engrossed in now) San Andreas. DH and I were also obsessed with Sims last year...haven't played it in a while though...I was insane with just building the houses, lol. Yeah, the only upside to his hours will be the extra $ at the end of the month.

Hi Ladies - Got in a 66 minute walk with DH again. Did some shopping, which was nice...DH needed new shoes - AGAIN, lol...he goes through shoes and haircuts like water, lol! I indulged in my usual...a magazine and zero calorie iced tea. ....And some scratch and win tickets. Oh, I'm nearing 1000 exercise minutes!!! 964 now!! Well, I'm off to play a game now!!
Have a good one, and stay OP chickies!!

Ammi: Thanks for the hello! I don't post much here...too hard for me to keep up with the posts, lol.

Nellie: Congrats on the weight loss! I can't wait for my weight loss to show up in my clothes. I am feeling stronger, but clothese do not feel different yet.

Kenya: I have a latin dance exercise video somewhere in my collection that includes salsa. If I can find it (bwah!), I will send it to you. I'm much more into the WATP videos and Push videos these days. At the very least, you could learn that salsa move!

I've been doing really well with exercise, getting at least 30 minutes in most days. Food choices are normally pretty good, though today...not so good. I didn't eat much all day in preparation for a celebration dinner out at an Indian restaurant. Boy, we overdid it. Alas, tomorrow is another day.

Hope everyone does well tomorrow,

Hi

I was reading about your dancing and thought I might suggest a DVD that I bought, called "crunch cardio dance party". It has different workouts with combos of different styles - salsa, hip hop, etc. I do it now and then. It shows you at first each step, and then they combine it and do it all at one time, then on to the next bunch of combinations. I find it a 'wee' bit fast but once you do it every other day you remember which moves are coming up.

OOPS sorry I didn't see the 'don't post here anymore" until I was done with this. Apologies.

I do have a list of songs I have put together called dance music that I seem to add to daily on my iPod. It is so fun because when the family gets into it we will dance together and I love to dance with my husband . However, 7/10 times I am just dancing alone and moving to the music. I would also love to learn to salsa, country line dance, and ballroom dance one day. They always seem like so much fun to me I am thinking once I get out of nursing school I will reward myself by taking dance classes. However, I know that in June I will start Taking Tae Kwon Do classes. So maybe dance classes will have to wait Anyway I just put one some good music and move, move, move. I can dance off and on all day it seems. My husband says " I bounce up and down" all day long
