I've been gone again, and I apologize. On the weekends, summer just catches up to me! I've been having a great time, and just haven't been on the computer. I do want to congratulate Wyllenn on breaking into One-Derland!!! I'm so very proud of you!!!!!

Just an update on me...a couple NSV's that I'm pretty proud of...including the one from Medieval Times....

Medieval Times - I did go off plan...I ended up eating everything, as the portions of the "bad" stuff weren't all that big. I was RIGHT back on plan that night, when I got a snack, I just grabbed a handful of nuts, when what I REALLY wanted was some fried chicken strips. And I have been on plan SINCE. So, I proved to myself that I CAN allow myself to have an off plan evening, and get right back at it!

Venetian Festival - As you all know I was very nervous about whether or not I'd be able to fit into the rides.....and I DID!!!! Granted, a couple of them were tight squeezes, but I rode everything I wanted to!!!!! This really made me happy. A year ago, there is NO way I would have been able to fit into those rides.

I also weighed in again, for the first time in 2 weeks, and I was still at 280. But I'm okay with it. I know I've lost some inches...and that's what really counts. Never got to meet Andrew's dad, as Andrew got food poisoning at the festival, and was sick all morning. We are going to go down to North Carolina in November, and I'd really really like to be down another 30 pounds. I've got 4 months...I'm just going to have to work harder than I already am!

That's all I can get in right now, but just wanted to pop in, and let you guys know that I'm still OP and doing GREAT!

Hello all... I have been so busy and I am now back at home.

Kayley-- I think that is so cool with you being able to enjoy the rides. I can't wait to do that again So congrats. Also I am sure you will drop that extra 30 lbs just as you desire.

Congrats on everyone else on their progress!

Thanks for all the welcome backs, everyone

Kayley, you're much braver than me! Last year, Jeff wanted to go to an amusement park, but I refused for fear of not fitting in the rides. I was probably about 270 at the time. Here I am now weighing more after a vicious backslide, but by this time next year, I'd better have my butt on a roller coaster!

Ammi--I'll be 24 on July 20th. Jeff's taking me out to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, as he knows I LOVE cheesecake, and I've never been there before. I'll take cheesecake in place of regular birthday cake any day!

Sharon--I saw your pics, too...adorable kids and a beautiful horse! I love horses, but I haven't been on one since I was maybe 12 years old when my neighbors had horses. Maybe that can be a treat once I've reached a certain goal--horseback riding

Well, here we were being lazy on a Sunday afternoon, and we're about to head out for a little shopping (need some more blank DVDs and some video games ). I got that evil thought that I was a little hungry, and maybe we could stop to eat or pick something up while we were out I successfully squashed that idea by making us toasted sandwiches with whole-grain SunChips at home before we left. Baby steps...

Hi Everyone..

wow so much to keep up with, this board moves along pretty quickly!! hehe

NoLifeWithoutHorses
Yes I'm on week 3, weigh-in is officially on Tuesday but the scale says 1.5 pounds so far, I'm hoping it stays off until Tuesday!! (sometimes it jumps around a bit before it sticks). My kitties are now 4 yrs old but the kitten pic is SO cute I wish I had more kittens

AmmiUK
So far so good, I'm just rockin along! Wheee I love it.

Everyone else here:
I am looking at your weight losses and it's astounding!!! You guys are all just doing so great. It keeps me honest, really. I want to be getting some of those numbers too!! My FIRST goal is to be out of the 3's before my husband gets back from his trip on Aug. 7. If I keep it up, I might even beat my goal. (cross fingers)

Xena2005:

Yes I used to have a cat named Abbey years ago, that's where the name came from. That, and I am a big Beatles fan (Abbey road is the name of one of my fav albums of theirs). I think it is a pretty name.

The 2 kitties you see in the pic there are 4 yrs old. Their names are Mr. Green and Jingles. They are SO bad!!!

Patti - I don't blame you for not weighing until you get back from your sisters. I still reckon if you get some walking in with her that you won't have a nasty shock when you do weigh. I am going to miss you when you are away!

Sharon - well done on posting your pics! I loved seeing you enjoying your riding, and the pics of the boys were just brilliant. Your boys are so handsome, and I LOVE their blonde hair. Does hubby have blonde hair then? I am still looking forward to seeing a pic of you with your red hair

How odd that you have TOM again!! Perhaps it's just been one long period with for some reason, no show on some days. Are you going to see the doctor about it? Could you go off that pill now you have the other meds and use the contraceptive I use. It's called Implanon, it's one of those rods that go under the skin in your arm. I haven't had a period since I had it put in 4 years ago!!

Sorry that you are so tired after all the running around today, but it sounds like it was all worth it. Good for you for not eating any of the potato wedges

Well done on the 2 lbs lost, don't be disappointed that it isn't more. We are really only supposed to aim for 1 or 2 lbs a week, that's why I am happy with my 2 lb losses when I have them. In my book anything is better than nothing

Valerie - ah yes well that's understandable then that they weren't your horses that the supposed perfectionist was getting her hands on. I am glad you got to feel smug about how quickly you took the messy braids out and redid them yourself. Do you have any photos of your horses after being braided by you?

I hope all goes well at the doctors tomorrow and that you get something that will help you feel 100% better

Melissa - that is great news about the table you will have at the Sea Cavalcade. Do you have a web site that shows some of your photos? What are they of?

Kayley - I just saw how much exercise you have done over the last couple of days you are on fire. You mentioned that you haven't had a loss on the scales lately, but with all that exercise I bet you are gaining muscle which is hiding the fact that you have lost lbs.

Woohoo that's great that you fit on all the rides you wanted to go on at the Venetian festival. I bet that gave you a major buzz. What a shame that you didn't get to meet Andrew's dad, and more importantly that Andrew had food poisoning. I hope he is totally better now.

Rkrs - I am like you, I can't wait to be able to fit on rides. I have had to miss out for so long, or had the humilation of having to squeeze onto rides, so I am determined that the next time I go to any theme park I am going to get on rides and have to tighten the seat belt, not struggle to get it around me!!

Jill - my hubby is exactly like you, he would much prefer a cheesecake rather than the traditional birthday cake. When we were in Vegas we went to the Cheesecake factory and Daren said that Americans KNOW how to make the stuff Ever since we got home had has hated the UK's attempts at cheesecakes. So he makes his own

I am sure you will love your visit to the Cheesecake factory on your birthday, how lovely of Jeff to want to take you there for your birthday treat! 24 huh, you are making me feel old

Well done on fighting the urge to eat out today by making toasted sandwiches Baby steps is right my friend, where would we be without them?

Angie - I love your kitties, they are so gorgeous. They are so beautiful that your original pic of them in your avatar, I thought was a pic from the internet, not your own kitties. What a cute photo of you and your hubby with them too, gotta love them with their hats

That's a shame that your hubby is away, is he gone somewhere with work? I am sure you are going to be in Twotown before he gets home!!! You are only 5 lbs away from 299, you are definitely going to do it

Ok well time for me to go now, I might get chance to pop back on later, if not then I will be back tomorrow with my WI results. Bye for now,

Hugs,

Ammi

Abbycat I forgot to welcome you, I love your cats but having two small boys doesn't really suit a cat, though when they're older I'll try & persuade hubby to get me one. Are they Siamese? they are soooo pretty. I'm sure you'll make your goal.xxx
Jilly the horse was from a stables near my Mum's house, I had to ask if they had a horse who could carry me, luckily he looked at me & said yes, HE DIDN'T ASK MY WEIGHT, THANK GOODNESS!!!! I KNOW you can do this, you did so well last time. Look at Ammi, she's really motoring this time. xxxx
Gotta go & do hubby's sandwiches for work tomorrow, have a shower & go to bed, it's past 10pm here.

Ammi - Yes, I do have a site with all my photos - they have "ONLINE PREVIEW" over them to prevent copying though, but you can still see them all clearly; here's the URL: http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l129/MW_Photography/

Hi Ladies - Got in 1.5 miles at the mall again! Blew up one of my photos to an 8x10...its looks GREAT! I'm so happy. I got 2 new photos to post: one of the Sunday Market I took, and another of my new comparison pics! I will post those now. I'll stop by later - hopefully for some personals.
Have a good one everybody, and stay OP!!

Sharon - you were on late tonight! I didn't think you went online at night. Well if you do it again you will have to look out for me for a late night chat

Melissa - thanks for the link to your photos page, I am no expert, but I loved them, especially the ones with flowers in, not to mention the one of the ducks on the lake! I am sure you will sell plenty when you go to the festival

I looked at your latest photo of yourself, you really can tell a difference in you size. I wish I could see some in myself, well apart from in my face, I do acknowledge that that looks smaller

Take care all, I am off to bed now. Be back again tomorrow.

Hugs,

Ammi

Rkrs - hey you only had a small piece of cake. I bet in days of old you would have tucked in to much more than that! So don't worry about it. You enjoyed it, you had some control, and you will stay on track

Hey guys

Well after sitting outside for about 12 hours I managed to get 4 necklaces, and a bracelet, and 5 pairs of earrings made. And frankly, had a wonderful brilliant day!

To answer your question, I make what I guess is called "costume" jewellery. I use glass beads and clay beads(handmade) as well as Swarovski crystals. I will take some pics someday and post them. I sell at a fleamarket on Sundays usually twice a month and then at Christmas time this year do a few craft shows.

Anyhoo, the poochie wants out and I after that I think I am heading to bed. I'll be around in the am!

Sick. Gotta clean up the kitchen & go to bed, but I've Got to tell SHARON -VooDoo that she was my inspiration today. I worked Gabriel this afternoon, and instead of just playing around, I got things done. It seems I've finally found a bit he doesn't mind having in his mouth. The barn owner's daughter is gleeful at the prospect of being the first one on his back, and we've agreed that if he's standing quietly for mounting and everything else by the end of the month, I'll put her up on him. She's just about beside herself! She's bright girl and listens to direction very well. Hopefully by fall I'll even be riding him myself. It's not like he's a delicate little flower!! I've gone to the barn several times with the INTENSION of really getting started but I always wimp out and just play. Thanks Sharon for inspiring me. It just looked like such a wonderful time to see you up riding!!

Well, I'm paying now for a day in horse dust and hot sun, so I'm gonna go collapse... shortly.

P.S. - BRENDA - It sounds really pretty. I love clay beads!
