Good afternoon! I'm finally out of that blah mood. I'm not sure what did it, but maybe it's just that my other half and I got out last night. I'm kinda craving junk galore right now, so I'm on here trying to avoid the kitchen. Yes I'm hungry but I'm afraid I'll get into that junk everyone else has in the pantry. I'll give it a little bit and then I'll get some lunch. I'm not weighing for another nearly 3 weeks because of a 21 day challenge I joined. Hope you're all doing well!

Melissa-That's outstanding!!! Good for you!

Ammi-Good for you for resisting....frying bacon isn't easy to resist!

I agree...since I haven't seen th show I had no ideal how much weight they drop so fast and the amount of exercise they do. I also agree that a person's diet is the largest contributing factor..or at least it is for me

Another quick post...

I just want to thank everyone for helping me get through the last few days. Like AmmiUK said it was probably just that I was missing my adrenaline rush from my exercise.

I did not throw in the towel and I did not fall off the wagon so I am still in one piece. I went to the grocery store and got fruit and yogurt to take with me for lunch this week, to go with my sandwich, so I am all prepared.

Hi everybody

Wow I am so far behind on posting.. trying to catch up on reading; but I guess this weekend I'm just plain way behind on life in general!

Worked at the community festival yesterday morning. It was so much fun... but SO hot by the time I got home and I was not feeling that well so crashed in bed and have pretty much stayed there the rest of the weekend! Didn't even go to church this morning. Don't know if I have just worn myself out with all the exercise... or if it is partly because of a hard fall I had Thursday night and am jarred up and sore.

Fortunately I managed to resist the urge to binge eat all day while reading! Those cravings don't come as often any more since I have developed new habits but today they sure did hit!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hi everyone,

One of my sister in laws from California is here visiting and I have been on the go since she got here. Lots of fun. On the first day she was here we went to sivermountain ski resort and rode the gondollas up the mountain. They claim they are the world's longest Gondolla ride. It took about 30 minutes to reach the top. We were so high. It was amazing and beautiful. Felt like the top of the world. Today we got up early and drove to Canada. I have never been out of America before so that was a first for me and for my sister in law. We bought a few trinkets for suveneers and had lunch. Lovely day. We also drove to Montana. Someplace we have never been. Tomorrow a.m. we are going to play Bingo. Then after Bingo My sister and law and I will drop DH at home and we will go to Curves to exercise. She had gastric bypass surgery last Oct. 1st and went from 352 at that time to currently she weighs in at 188. She looks wonderful and is so full of energy etc. I am so happy for her.

To all you who are loosing, congrats. Good luck to those of you who will be weighing in this Tomorrow. Kayely, I should be getting my house around the 28th of this month if everything goes smoothly in Escrow. Xena, you gave me a wonderful idea that I am so excited about. Since I started my weight loss journey I have kept a scrap folder of articles and pictures, thoughts and things that I just think are neat. I am going to make a scrap book too of my journey. Thank you for sharing that Idea with me. I love it. I love to scrap book and stuff so it sounds fun!

Everyone, blessings to you all and I will be back when I can. DH and his sister are watching an old Western Movie on TV so I thought I would check in real quick before bed. Take care and be op.
Hugs,
Annie

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a reliable exercise bike for someone in our "weight range?" I am so fed up with the one I have, but I really cannot complain too much because it was free. Before I get a new one I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions.

Hey all -- I haven't seen Ammi in here talking about her weigh-in.... hope it went okay!

As for me, I had my weigh in this morning and no change. That's okay though. I'll get there, and I lost 2 last week and since my weight loss has slowed didn't expect it. Actually, I bet I notice it during a mid-week weigh in, though it's not official until next Monday.

I had an odd day yesterday -- went to a baseball game. I brought some healthy snacks, figured it was more than we would need. Got a hot dog at the park as planned. The game ended up going 19 innings! It was a good thing I had all those snacks with me, otherwise the pizza and nachos would have been next!!

I'll pop back in later today...
