  • Ammi - You might suprise yourself how creative you can be if you tried scrapbooking. If I, the right-brained accountant, can be somewhat creative, anyone can! The key for me has been taking a couple of classes at my scrapbook store and I sometimes watch a scrapbooking program on the DIY network. It's a good way to get some ideas and at least get a clue what some of the stuff you can buy at the scrapbook store is even for!!!

I liked your story about the weight of your Gazelle. I had a similar thing happen a few weeks ago when I was walking my little dog. Sometimes if it's hot outside he will get too hot and I worry he's going to keel over before we get home, so I will pick him up and carry him so he can rest. (Yes, I know, my dog is incredibly spoiled ). Anyway, he weighs 20 pounds and having to carry him just part of the way on my walk almost killed me. I realized that I had lost close to 20 and seeing how much more work it was to carry my 20 pound dog was the same as me carrying 20 extra pounds on myself. It's no wonder I feel so old and tired sometimes with all this extra weight. Everything we do at this size is just so much more physically draining than if we were a normal size.
