Hey all -- Just a quick note tonight

Hope everyone in the US had a good 4th. My poor dog is so scared of the fireworks... I wish they would stop so she could relax.

Got to sleep in today and then went to see "The Devil Wears Prada" with my friend. Ended up making my own popcorn at home and sneaking it in using one of my backpack purses -- those are perfect for movie contraband! It was a good movie, not the best I have seen but far from the worst. A good mindless few hours which is what I was looking for. After the movie went out for dinner to Red Lobster. Had a salad, small baked potato, 1 biscuit, and some crab legs (with no butter.) Getting out of there only having one biscuit when I used to eat at least 3 was pretty good I think. Not to mention I probably burned off the biscuit calories trying to crack the crab legs! After that came home and rode my exercise bike for 30 minutes.

I really wish we did not have to go back to work already tomorrow. For me it is like having 2 Monday's in one week!

Take Care!

Claire

Hi Claire

I thought that movie looked cute. LOL @ movie contraband. I know what you mean. Not only is most of the stuff they sell unhealthy, its EXPENSIVE!

Sounds like you did great @ Red Lobster. I love those biscuits myself. I know what you mean about cracking the crab legs! It can really be quite a workout sometimes!

My weeks been all messed up. I was off yesterday, worked tonight, off tomorrow, back to work On Thursday to begin a new week! (I work Thurs. - Sun. nights) OYE! lol. But the extra cash is going to be good!

Have a Great Night!

Hello Ladies and happy 4th of July to all. I have had a great day with my family. I made a cake for my kids and I wasn't even tempted at all to take a bite

Crock- Congratulations on the 80 pounds lost...Wow that is great.

I was such a romper room kid myself

Melissa–I am happy it was just water weight and congrats on your weight loss so far.

Bras, Bras, Bras...oh I am still unsure as to what size I really wear?

Claire -- I think it's great to think in terms of "1 biscuit now vs 3 before". I try to reframe things that way when I feel I haven't been "perfect" -- yes, but look how much better it is than before!!!

rkrs -- Good for you on saying no to the cake!
