Hey, we share the same birthday! I will be 44 the same day. And we've had basically a mild January in these parts; I hope February holds the same!

Welcome 2LosinIt...

Glad to meet another chickie and a fellow WW'er. I am about to have my 1 year anniversary at WW and have lost 87 lbs. I would be happy to ffer suggestions or support if you would like. This is a great forum with phenomenally diverse and dynamic women...so jump on it and just type away!

Did I tell you all that when I went to my cousin's house on Saturday night that my other cousin (who I have not seen in 6 months) did not recognize me when she saw me in front of the house!?!?! I love it!

Have a good night...

I don't have much time, but I was surprised there were other mead lovers here. My next project is a ginger peach melomel. Anyway, hopefully I will have more time tomorrow. I have been reading, but I haven't had time to post.

My grandmother enjoyed having the girls and I visit yesterday, and so did we. I got just about everything done that I needed to yesterday, I'm still working on my setting my goals for this week though. (I sit down on Mondays and set my exercise and general goals for the week.)

Today was okay diet wise. I haven't worked out yet...which means I'm behind for the week already, but I'll make it up through the week. I am hoping to get to bed early tonight and be able to get up early in the morning and work out some. Kaitlyn is with her mother for I don't know how long, so my mornings are a little more my own until she is back with us. Anyway if I intend to get to bed early I better get on with it...

That's what happened to me, 2 years ago I lost 70 lbs in three months by cutting out carbs, but as soon as I started eating them again I gained it all back plus 20 lbs...Carbs are the root of all evil for me I'm trying to lose the weight and not cut them out completely this time, but I know that means the losing won't be at the same rate.

I hope everyone has a great day!!

Thanks Julee... ahhh....The thought of going somewhere I haven't been in a long time and having someone not recognize me sounds really kind of exciting I long for that day!

I'm doing the whole point thing....it seems to be what I can do without feeling totally deprived. So far so good, I guess, although I really want it all to happen NOW.... but I'm trying to do it right, so..... not so much NOW there.

I'm trying to make things be a habit.... and recently realized that the water is almost second nature to me now. I try to drink at least 100 ounces a day. But haven't yet been able to get a good routine for activity. Some sporatic walking, but I know this is going to be my biggest challenge.

Thanks for the offer for suggestions, Julee... I'm going to need them. I look forward to being a part of this group.
