Brenda – You are so brave to buy an elliptical. I saw those at the gym and they look rather scary! I have heard they are pretty low impact, so I suppose I’ll try one to see.

Jill – Glad to see there’s another Homestar Runner fan in this crowd. I guess they were on Christmas break since there was a new SB email just posted for the first time in a month - I was starting to get withdrawals!

Zelma – What else can I say but WOW! Your loss is amazing and it is so great to have more opportunities to talk to real people who have actually done this.

Ammi – I am so sorry to hear that your daughter is having such a hard time. My boyfriend’s brother has a cochlear implant too. I know he has had to have it replaced at least once, but I think his current one has been OK for awhile.

Luan – Congrats on making the move and joining WW!

Tashabella – That is great news about your computer and finding something that alleviates your asthma. I spent most of my childhood unable to breathe well (allergies mostly) and it is really miserable. That is great that you are feeling better.

Catherine – Your new husband sounds truly amazing. I am so happy for you that you have found someone so special and so caring. I hope your wedding is absolutely magical.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes on the surgery. I will have to wait just a little while since it is not immediately necessary. January is the busiest time for me at work with the end of year and the auditors arriving the week of the 23rd. I can’t afford to take any time off until after they are through. Of course I would if it was life threatening, but it can wait just a little while.

Tomorrow is my first session with my new personal trainer at the gym. They ended up switching me to a different person they think will be more suitable. I have my new sneakers, a bonafide workout bra and some new Cheat shirts, so I am all ready to go. I am kind of nervous though – I feel like it’s the first day of school or something.

Well, it’s getting late and I haven’t done any exercise yet for the day. I have been on a streak and I don’t want to break it.
