So I just decided to stop what I was doing at work and post. I have been absolutely awful I haven’t exercised in a week. I have tried the last two days but I still can’t find my weights or my exercise DVD I don’t know what has happened to them. I just hope the kids didn’t bury them in the backyard.

The last month has been such a enormous drain. My boss is still in and out of the hospital and it is making work so much more difficult. People don’t really want to cooperate and come to work. And then get pissy when you tell them about it. . We sell Power Chairs and scooters so we deliver. And our delivery people have decided they don’t want to deliver in some areas of town or they don’t want to talk to this or that customer because they are mean. DO IT ANYWAY!!! This is a job you don’t get to pick and chose your customers. Sometimes you just want to grab them by the neck and shake some sense into them.

I have this JACHO certification to prepare for. And getting people to change so we can meet the requirements is going to be a big big big undertaking. My boss is one of the greatest people in the world. She can line people up like they are supposed to. I wish I could help her so she could get back to her old self. But it probably not going to happen.

I have been eating good lately though. I have snacked a little too much but not as much as I used to. One of the things I gave up for lent was Coke (my favorite beverage) now that Lent is over I tried to drink one for my Easter meal. And it tasted horrible . I was a little mad. But I was also happy because I just got rid of one of my biggest problems.

I am going to Campbellsville to see my brother again. I am going to pick up my bike in Louisville. HOORAY! This is the best thing that has happened in a long time. I am hoping a stress free weekend will help ease my mind and my troubles. Sorry to rant but I just had to get it out of my head. When I get back from C’ville I am going to start riding my bike in the mornings. (I just got to get out of bed.) But time will tell.

Thank you guys for being here so I can have a little time away from it all.

Later gators

Hey guys, we have a new member...I'm pasting her entry here because it was in the last thread....

Just a little about me...

My name is Cokia, I'm 23 and married to one of the best people in the world. I've been fat most of my life but REALLY fat after high school...I'm an emotional eater. I'm just absolutely sick of being the token fat chick. I WILL lose this weight bbecause I want to live and be old and craggley with my husband. And I don't want to have to worry about buying 2 seats on an airplane, even though it hasn't happened to me yet if I keep on going in this direction in undoubtably will. I want to be normal, and I don't want anyone to comment about how I am overweight. I want my asian mother-in-law to see me and not my gut. I could rant forever and I apologize. I'm so glad I found this place!!

I saw that you all shop at the Avenue/Lane Bryant, etc... I just wanted to let you know that in Southern California we have a great store called Torrid. You can get younger styled fashions in plus sizes. I am in love with this store. (Until I can shop in regular stores that is!) If you don't have one in your area you can also shop at torrid.com.

Hope to get to know you all better as we reach our goals!

Hi all! How's life in the BIG city????

I don't really have time for a "real" post so I'm just stop in to say "hi". I see that the numbered thread has made it down the list a piece and that it was causing some confusion so I thought I would just bring it on up.

I had delivery/service guys in and out all day so I'm trying to recouperate. Got my new mattress delivered. Holy Smoly! I swear you walk into the bedroom and the top of the mattress is waist high. I need a frickin' step ladder to get into it. Told Honey he was going to have to build me a step stool or something. I have to sling my leg up like I'm getting on a horse! YIKES! My old mattress pad doesn't fit and it has deep pockets and the sheets barely fit. I think we'll be waking up looking like tacos....if you know what I mean.

Then last week we got digital cable along with a DVR. Just had regular before. We were having some trouble with it basically because the techs that installed it were morons and so we had to have another service call today. It seems to be working alright now, but we'll see after an evening of Survivor and the Apprentice.

I'm going to be ever so happy to sleep in a little tomorrow morning. It was up at 7:00 every day this week to do the donut shops felt like a dang cop after 13 different donut and coffee stops. And then this morning I got up at 6:00 with Honey so we could pull the old bed out. Can you see why I'll be real happy to sleep in?

Oh well, gotta get a report done before 8:00. See you all later. Love ya bunches!

Oh, I forgot to mention, if you're shopping via Catherines or Lane Bryant or the Avenue online, you can return those purchases in a real store if you want to and save the postage to send stuff back if/when it doesn't fit right.

Ok well I lied. I'm back but honestly I don't feel like going back thru all the threads, altho I did read them! I am lazy... see I admit it! heh.

Scoot, congrats on the leadership! Do let us know how it is going. I can't wait for you to get your new bike and it's not even for me! lol. I am interested tho in knowing how it does for you b/c I may want to steal the same type and get myself one. My fingers are crossed that you'll love it.

Catherine, like I said... I did read the posts yesterday but honestly just don't feel like going back through them, but I did remember your post striking a nerve with me. So whatever you said, I concur! (Gods I'm such a slacker.) I wish I knew how to sew so I could do my own shirts but that's just one of the things on a long list of things to do one day. We both will get our families one day, let's keep the faith ok?

Cokia, welcome!!! Glad to have you here and hope to hear lots from you.

Lillian, hope your day's going better. Seems like I read that you were having a not so good time (of course if I got it wrong sorry).

Julee congrats on your loss!!!! You're doing great.

Shop - I went over horribly today too on calories. I suppose it's because I was so shocked at losing today that I celebrated with the food. Bah, I know better. Sometimes I wish someone was there to knock me in my *** when I was stupid.

Ok well there were some others that I really wanted to reply too but be damned if I remember what I wanted to say. Sorry gals, I'm just not with it tonight. Sue I know I was agreeing with something you said lol. Ok so I'm the forum screwball. I can live with that!

Today I lost another 1.5 lbs altho honestly I don't think I deserved it. But it made my 6th week consecutive so I get my first 6 week consecutive charm from TOPS. YAY!!!

Catch ya all on the flipside,
Julie

Cokia - WELCOME!!

I got in 1.25 miles yesterday on the DDR game. I think I’ve gotten back on my roller coaster ride tho… I got down to 353lbs, however its been teeter tottering the last two weeks. I just hope it’s a false sense. I guess we’ll see what happens come Sunday. I’ll jump on the scale and see where it leads me.

I’ve been doing fairly good with my eating, just that one day I went overboard with pizza. Other than that, I’ve been getting my water it, still struggling a bit with that, but I think I’m doing okie. With all the stress from school I’m just glad I didn’t gain everything back hehehe.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Well Ladies, I've been in hiding this thread, but I just can't stay away! Seriously, life's kinda sucked the last two days...but it's getting better. The following will spill all my woes. Feel free to skip it and ignore me.

Yesterday there was a big meeting at work and we were told our new Governor has slashed Social Services budget by $240,000,000. Yes, that's the right amount of zero's. Of course, I work for Social Services. I suppose it could be worse, the plan is for only two Hearing Officer's to lose their jobs..and I've been there 10 years and I know I'm quite good at my job...and, being perfectly modest, better than some in my office. But it's still a shock to know that jobs are in danger. To top it off, the director was quite short with me at the meeting, when he wasn't with other folks, and it put me in quite a mood. I'm generally one who doesn't like the boss mad at me...and I really don't like it when his mood follows a $240 mil. budget cut and firing annoucement.

After work I went shopping a bit. Need a ton of stuff for Vegas. Of course, after trying on about 15 different outfits, I bought a single sweater. Gotta admit, made me want to diet more.

Today I was feeling just yucky and decided I'd go home at noon. Gathered up a dozen files to write deicisions for and left. Decided to stop at another clothing store. I did get a pair of stretch capri's for Vegas and a skirt for work. But I just was exhausted by the time I made it home. Had just started lunch at 2:00 when the school called and DS was sick. So ran and got him. Napped on the couch until DH got home. By 7:00 I'd had all of 14 points and I was hungry and grouchy and just didn't want to think about food or dieting and DH went and got KFC. I ate a breast, thigh and wing and some potatoes and gravy. Stuffed and happy now. I actually took the skin off and by my caluclations didn't go over 35 points, even with the fried chicken pig-fest.

Finally I sat down to type my work I brought home and managed to ERASE all my shell documents, so no work to be done tonight either! That just kinda topped off my day. I have SO MUCH to get done in the next 9 days and NO TIME to do it all! At this point I just want to crawl under a rock for the next few weeks!

I've not eaten a single vegetable today. I've only drank 1/2 my water. I'm tired and cranky and have a headache. I can't go to bed because I had to wash the blanket we've been using for a mattress pad and it's still wet. DH is bringing a mattress pad home from the store soon and then I'm going straight to bed.

On the up side, I lost 2 pounds!

I hope everyone else has had a better couple of days than I have...and now I'm done whining and will go get ready for bed so when DH gets here I don't have to do anything but make it and dive in!

Believe it or not I've been reading the threads but there's so much going on it'd take forever to do individual replies...not that I'm very good at that at the best of time. I'll be in a better mood and try harder tomorrow.

Hello to everyone, especially you newbies! I'm not usually such a whiner and I'll be more personable next post!

Later,
Lilion

Smile Old water logged!

Hello chickies, How are Ya?

Mel, and Shop Happy birthday. Have a great time today!

The rain has returned complete with lightening, and thunder that will make you hide under the bed with kitty. There have been numerous fires started by lightening strikes around our area, now that is scarey!

So far so good this week. I am OP, and believe it or not even with exercise, Minor miracle there! Geez, I wonder why it is so hard to maintain that life style? I did it for a year once before and never cheated once, honest! I was going to WW with 2 friends and I think I was just determined to lose more than they did Whatever! I know, I know! I lost 109 lbs and managed to put it back on over a few years, dumb, dumb! I vowed that I never would be that heavy again, and guess what I got even larger. Sighhh! Do any of you wake up having THE talk with yourself about food and what you need to do about it? My first thoughts in the morning are defensive ones. I WILL NOT SUCCUMB TO EATING THE WRONG FOODS TODAY. If I could remember that for more than an hour I am sure it would work.

Enough rambling for now. No April fool joke here. Have a peachy day all. Iwillbe

Mornin'!

And just when I thought I was going to be able to sleep in! Arghhhh! The "baby's" car got broken into last night! The kid just can't catch a break! He went out this morning at 6:30 and found the passenger door window was smashed in. His dashboard was messed up because they tried to get his stereo out. The trunk was popped and his amp and speakers were missing. Geez, he just got the thing out of the shop. And right in our driveway to boot!

The cop came and said "so, which one of his friends did it?" I told the cop I was sure that it wasn't one of his friends. I told him that the Baby is 24, a college graduate, employed full time as an engineer and doesn't hang out with anyone in the neighborhood. The cop said "well, somebody knew he had a stereo system and thumper in the trunk." It's not too hard to figure out that a car has a thumper in the trunk. The whole dang neighborhood knows. That is, IF they can hear the thumper over the exhaust pipes he put on!!!! KIDS! Gotta love 'em. They're cute, they're bright, but for the most part no common sense!

The funny part was that after we went through this with the cop, the cop came back and was talking car shop with the Baby! It's like, geez man. The cop asked if the car was fast. Then they got into that the cop had just ordered a new car and they were drooling over each other's choices. YIKES!

On the "plan" front.....today is a new day. Something has got to be done about this weight I'm carrying and I'm guessing there isn't anybody going to do it for me, so I better get working on it. *sigh*

Well, first things first:
Happy Birthday to Y'all!
Happy Birthday to Y'all!
Happy Birthday, dear Melissa and Shop!
Happy Birthday to Y'all!!! And many more!
Hope y'all have a wonderful day!

Judy: Shopping sounds fun. I almost forgot all about you going to NC. Is it business or pleasure?

Brandnewme: I hope that things have settled down for you. I hope your sister and the baby continue to do well. When is she due? [[[hugs]]] Congrats on the couple of pounds gone!

Terri: I found the same thing about Lane Bryant. Ya know, I've been in Lane Bryant stuff since I was about 8. My mother used to always take me to the one mall that was in the area at the time and that's where we shopped for my clothes. I remember thinking that all of the styles looked like they were for old ladies. Now, I go in Lane Bryant and I think all the styles look like they're for the younger crowd. I just can't win!!!

Jazzmine: WOW, you're doing the 3 mile tape! Good for you! I'd get through about 2 minutes and I'd be laying out on the couch. *Hope your visit with your brother this weekend goes well.

Tina: How's your FIL? Still in the hospital? I hope all is going well. * I'm glad your tests came back that there is nothing seriously wrong with you. I don't know what to tell you about the meds. Geez, I know what you're thinking. I'm taking Bextra for my arthritis and it's on that crazy "watch out for this one" list. But I haven't found anything that works as well. So do I stop taking it in the off chance I'm that one in 700,000 that has a heart attack from it, or do I take it and be able to walk without pain. It's a tough decision.

Jen: You've done so incredibly well. You look wonderful! And I bet you're loving the idea of coming "home". I do hope that you'll start posting more often. It's always nice to hear from you.

mnemosyne: You have such a great mindset! It is very inspiring to hear about your positive self talk and the great strides you have made.

SueMarie: I hear you on the "tomboy". Even now, my favorite is tee shirt and jeans.....well, they're stretch denim leggings now, but you get the drift.

Arcayne: Welcome to our little corner of the world. We're glad to have you joining us. I know well, the whole "lose it, put it back on" routine. You are in good company. Now we need to learn how to break the cycle.

Barbg: I think that particular graphic you posted is one of my favorites. The colors are just so beautiful and peaceful somehow. * I'm sorry you're having such a struggle. Keep working on it. One of these days it will all kick in. [[[hugs]]]

Lilion: I loved this statement: "Warning, Excessive consumption of this product will cause your butt to balloon to gargantuan proportions." There are so many things that should have THAT warning on them. I'm sorry to hear about all of the turmoil at work. Budget cuts are never fun.

BarbPA: I think you should be on your way to Florida today, if I remember right. Have a good trip. I hope you find your dad in good spirits and that you'll be able to have a nice visit. Be safe, my friend.

Scooter: Woohoo, Scooter's a leader, Scooter's a leader!!! Hope the whole thing went well. Congrats on the 1/4 pound! It's in the right direction. You're so close to twoterville you can almost taste it.....oops, on second thought, don't "taste" it! *Have a safe trip. Can't wait to hear how you like your new bike.

Cokia: Welcome to you as well. We love having new people join us. Hope you'll post often.

Leanne: Congrats on your maintain. Sometimes a maintain is a gift and it looks like you got one this week. Hope the diabetes scare is just that....a scare and nothing serious.

Julee: Thank you so much for the descriptions of your Jewish holidays and foods. It's fun to learn about other people and their traditions. *You are a very busy lady, but it must be very rewarding to work with the kids. I think that is an amazing job. * I loved the apple snack idea. How simple and what a great diversion from just a plain apple. Thanks for the tip. *CONGRATS on the 3.2!!! Good for you! *BTW, can you get Light Butter out there? Land o' Lakes puts out a "light" butter. It comes in 4 stick pounds just like the real stuff and the stats are much better than the real stuff and IMHO you can't tell the difference. The only trouble is I can only find it at Kroger's here. But I did notice that Kroger had their own brand of "light" the last time I was in there, so maybe some other groceries will be jumping on the bandwagon.

Melissa: Sooooo, how did your second day at Shaws go??? I don't even like the merchandising end of things anymore. I'm getting bored with the mystery shopping that I'm doing too. I think it's time to get the "search" going for some new jobs. BTW, those website links were fine because they weren't "selling" anything. It's just those that "sell" that are not allowed as "links".

Catherine: Your roommate hasn't become an "axe murderer" yet! I love the way you put things!!! Just watch out, she's just getting started. I would suggest you DON'T hide her patch! Not if you want to live to tell about it anyway.

Synn/Keri: Good job bypassing that Chineese! Just for fun I went and looked up Chicken and Broccolli on Dotti's and this is what I found...if you're interested. Ginger Broccoli & Chicken (2.5 servings per dish) (240 cal/7 g fat/2 g fiber/15 g carbs) 5 WW points. *WOW, 6.5 POUNDS! Very IMPRESSIVE!!!

Loki: Good job on the 1.5 pounds gone! You go, girl. It's coming off!

2cute: Good to see you checking in. Hope you're doing ok. [[[hugs]]]

Iwillbe: Ooooo, more STORMS! OMG!!! I hope you do ok and stay dry and don't have any damage. That's scarey. This must be your Spring storm season? We're getting into tornado season here. So far, nothing, knock on wood.

Shop: What did you think of Eyes? We all fell in love with the show within the first 10 minutes. It was witty and fast paced and had enough twists and turns to keep you interested....right up until the last minute.

Ok, where are my Survivor friends? That poor Ulong tribe just can't cut a break! That Bobby Joe/Tommy Joe, whatever his name is was TERRIBLE at the puzzle. What a joke! I was rather surprised that he voted off Ibraham. I really thought Steph was a goner, even though she is the brightest, most talented in the tribe.

I really thought Chris was going to be gone on the Apprentice. I can't stand him! But again, he bypassed the bullet. What was that team thinking being set up in one end of town, but selling pizzas back in Brooklyn??? Geez, BIG mistake! I thought the parting comments were uncalled for. There was no need to make the remarks concerning the "high schoolers" because they are certainly holding their own in the competition.

Has anyone been watching the Amazing Race? Are Rob and Amber still in the running? I missed this week, or maybe even a couple of episodes. Of course, I was only watching it for Rob and Amber anyway.

Okey, dokey, I think I'm caught up again. Gotta run. Love ya bunches!

Hey guys!! Thanks so much for the Happy Birthday wishes....

Rachel - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU TOO!!! Hee hee.

Well, all in all it will probably be a boring day but meh. I think I may treat myself to Chinese food instead of a cake, I'm not really in a cake eating mood today I don't think.

Scooter - Hang in there! I've had a rough couple of days too. Easter I had a bit of candy, and yesterday I ate PIZZA AGAIN...and not the healthy stuff...I ate three pieces of frozen Red Barron Pizza cause that's what everyone at the house was eating That's how I put on weight to begin with. I feel soooo bad about myself too because I don't have an accurate scale and it's impossible to tell if you've lost anything less than five pounds, otherwise it sorta just moves around as you shift your weight....grrrr.

Thin - How did you like last night's Apprentice? Heh heh, I was so happy last week when Erin got sacked, but I was even more surprised this week when Stephanie got canned over Chris, I was sure he'd go...but instead it seems like Trump is growing fond of the tobacco chewing clown! My second day at Shaws was a little better, albeit I was still sore from the first day. Darn those shelves are deep, I think I mentioned having to lay on the floor to get the product out, cause I COULDNT REACH. Well that's it for Shaws...next week I'm doing some K-Mart personal cleansing reset. We'll see what else comes in, I NEED MONEY, LOL. I filled out a bunch of forms for the mystery shopping, but that search engine is weird, if you notice, every time you perform a serach based on location, the COMPANIES CHANGE. So I don't even think half of th eplaces I applied do service in NH. Oh well, we'll see.

I know I didn't hit everyone but I fell a bit behind. Thanks again for the birthday wishes, I'll check in later!!!
