Thin - re: Desperate Housewives

Do you know that Mike is looking for the daughter of the man in the diner? Mike was married to her which I thought last week was revealed to be the gal who was shot in the first episode. I havent seen why she disappeared and became Mary Alice. Mike has apparently murdered before. Now I missed the guy in the diner talking to someone at the police station. I'll have to rewind and rewatch. I tape it because we watch HBO on Sunday nights and then I always fall asleep when I watch it at 9.

Anyone sick of Paula Abdul yet? She is so obnoxious. And she claps like a seal. The guys were very good tonight. I'm not sure which would be my favorite. Bo the rocker maybe.

The funeral stuff is all over with. Bad grammer there I know. MIL is so wiped out. It was good for DH to spend time with all his cousins. MIL called tonight to say that BIL has had a setback - either he's dehydrated or else suffered another mini-stroke. DH is broken-hearted for him.

Food has been so-so this weekend. Dinner out on Saturday and they brought a key-lime pie to have back at our house. Yesterday was hot dogs for lunch. Today was chocolate sheet cake and a small piece of cherry pie. But I don't have any guilt or regrets. My life includes days like that. Now I'm going right back on plan.

I did exercise tonight. 30 good minutes on the spinner and a 20 minute dog walk.

I am behind on water though. I do terrible at it at home.

I'm off to do some browsing. Goodnight!

Joyce: I'm soooo glad somebody else was ready for the 100 pounds. That sounds soooo much better than 52!

Barbg: I'm thinking you just might see some snow for Spring Fling. Trust me, it wouldn't be the first time we've had snow in April!!!! Top Down!!!!! Now you're just braggin'!!!! Thanks, you really know how to make a girl feel good.

Terri: When they are interrogating Susan in the police station, they get done and the cop comes out and you see him speak to another guy that has been looking through the observation window. He's the one that you see at the very end talking with the guy in the diner. Thanks for the clarification. I'm telling ya, I'm going to start taking notes! * Sorry to hear BIL is not doing well again. What a roller coaster you guys are on! [[[hugs]]]

Thin--SOOOOO sorry about the continuing baby-car saga!!! How aggravating! Now, 52 pounds sounds pretty good to me... did anyone here do that many in 2004? If not I think it's a great goal for any of us with that much still to lose.

Good rainy morning, If it is not raining where you are, let me send some your way! We had some serious hailstorm last night, or middle of the night. Wowee, out patio was piled up with it.

OK. Thin, I am busted! I thought if I slipped that in at the end of the thread no one would notice. I didn't think it would be so hard to overcome that eating spree over the weekend, but it is! I had sugar for the first time since Christmas, and boy, did that mess me up. I am still wanting to eat, but I am keeping a tight rein on myself so far. It is NOT worth it! Hear me......NOT WORTH IT! Besides throwing me into a tailspin, my scale shows a 4 lb. gain!!!!

Scooter, I hope you are able to reach some kind of compromise with your mother about the use of the treadmill. My Mom would do anything to get me to lose weight!! I would hope that your Mom would give you all the encourament she has to give.

Hilta, thanks for the Monday motivation. I was really needing all of the motivation I can get right now!

2cute, I agree with you about getting up each time we fall, but gosh darn it, don't you get tired of falling?? I know I do. I just want to stay on my feet and follow through with what I know I can do if I make up my mind to do it. WE can do this! Come on now, you lead and I will follow.

Susie, I hope your Dad will be all right. As for the stomach pains, it is good that you have made a Dr. appointment to see what is going on. I have a lot of problems along those lines, but I wouldn't want to try to diagnose anyone else. Good luck with that.

Craftymom, I think I gained the four lbs you lost

Darn, 2cute, did you have to go and figure out that we couldn't lose 100 lbs doing the 2x2.

Ageoldie, we are having some of that very warm weather too, unfortunately, we also get the thunderstorms with it.

Hello to Joyce and Judy and anybody else that I missed. I didn't overlook you on purpose

Have a Op day. Iwillbe

Hi JuleeCee, Welcome to our little corner at 3FC. We're usually not as quiet as we've been today. Jump right in.

Everyone must be busy, or sick, or both - like me.

Just stopped in for a quick HI to all. I'm waiting for my cold pill to wear off so I can take another. I'm using the new stuff, Mucinex. It's great if your cold is headed for your chest.

Good evening to one and all. Just stopping by to say hello

JuleeCee---Welcome glad to have you here!

Thin--Dang gone it I was really excited about the 100 lbs. It
sounded so good to me. I guess now I'll just have to try twice
as hard. Hope your car woes will be over soon. Have a bed
ready I think the Feb. challenge will be over for me right on time.
I should have enough cars to be back home possibly Friday, unless
you have an extra bed for me and I lay over with you for Spring Fling
for a month.

Iwillbe--We've had a little rain but just mostly overcast and dreary.
Can't hardly wait for the sunshine.

Craftymom--Congrats on your 4 pounds. Keep up the good work.

Susie--I'm also glad your Dad is feeling better. Let us know what
the Doc says. I hope everything will be O.K.

Ageoldie--Please send some sun this way. The mud is terrible.
along with the heating bills.

To all the rest have a good evening. I'm off to watch the ladies
on A. Idol.

Evening, all!

I had a stay at home day today since the "baby's" car is still tied up. They said something about the window and now it had to be shipped to the Dealer for that part. Maybe tomorrow! Grrrrrrrr.........

I did pretty much nothing today, including eat. I had two 2 point muffins during the day and a Subway tonight for dinner. I've got about 1/2 my water in so I'll be sucking the rest of that down this evening.

My dishwasher is sitting in the dining room. Who the heck feels like installing it after a hard day's work and not getting home until 7:00. Oh well, I'm getting used to doing it by hand again now.

I did manage to get some stuff I sold on eBay wrapped up and ready to go to the Post Office tomorrow. Also got a few personal things together and ready to mail.

I also took a long nap.....twice......today! That recliner just felt soooooo good. It was definitely a lazy day.

There were some snow flurries most of the day, but nothing that stuck to the drive so that's a good thing. Grey day, but pretty snow.

Angela: You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, 52 pounds IS GREAT!!! I lost track of the picture there for a minute and you're right that none of us got to 52 pounds gone last year so it is very much a GREAT GOAL!!!!

Julee Claire: Welcome to our little corner! We're glad to have you join us. Congrats on the 9.8 pounds down. You've got a great start going. It's also wonderful that your BF is jumping on the weightloss bandwagon with you. That will make it alot easier. I hope you'll post often so that we can all get to know you and you us. Again, welcome.

Iwillbe: Sorry to burst your hiding bubble! I hope you've now gotten back out of the sugar. Sounds like you're back to moving in the right direction. Good for you.

Judy: Hope you have gotten to take that next cold pill and maybe you could just go to bed and sleep it off. Hope you feel better real soon.

Hilta: Glad to have you stopping by. I'll be glad to put you up for the month. BTW, I thought the 100 pounds sounded good too. Oh well! 52 sounds alot better than I did last year, so I guess I'll go for that!!!!!

Well, I'm off again. Time for NCIS and then NYPD Blue. It's the second to the last episode, so I'm going to be glued to the TV set.

See ya later. Love ya bunches!!!

Hi everyone... just wanted to let you all know that I'm still around. I got really busy with School. I'm hoping to get all caught up by end of week.

I'm doing okie with eating, and as far as exercising, now that I'm feeling better I'll be getting right back to playing catch up with Cathy on my miles heheheh... I've had a few cravings this week however, thanks to Uncle TOM and Aunt Flo. All this rain out here in cali is really depressing too... but I've been to busy to get down in the pits hehehe... I hope to get back on track asap.

Take care everyone!

Howdy everyone! Just checking in one last time before I hit the hay. I promised Honey to do a better job of getting to bed at night. Trying to reset that internal clock of mine. Probably won't be able to get to sleep at all tonight since I napped so much today.

Ruby: I'm sorry you're still not feeling back to normal. That's been quite some time for you not feeling good. I'm glad you have a Dr. appointment. Maybe he/she will be able to figure out what's going on and get you feeling back on par.

SueMarie: Glad you're getting better. Back to exercising will be the giant step. I'm happy things are going better for you.

I know this is about 45 minutes early, but I really do want to get to bed, so this one is for you, Barbg:
Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday, dear Barbg!
Happy Birthday to YOU!!!! And many more!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Ok, ladies, I'm off to bed. I've got quite a bit on my plate for tomorrow. I'm headed across town for lunch with a friend, have to stop at the Post Office and have a couple of jobs to get done as well.

See you all later. Love ya bunches!!!!

Geez guys, I thought you had all abandoned this site! I posted about this time yesterday morning and when I checked back about 3:30 yesterday afternoon, no one had posted!! Was it something I said!

Here I am post 29 again, and I don't have a clue how to start another thread so I am not going there.

Happy birthday Barb, and many more.

2cute, yes I have seen the price of new cars That is why I am still driving my '98 model. They cost more than a house cost when I was younger!

Terri, I missed your post yesterday, sorry! I hope things are looking up for you.

See Ya later! Iwillbe
