Default Hello

Hello Chicks!

As you have already heard, Spring Fling 2004 was a great success. Thanks again to 2Cute for hosting. I had a blast and it really lifted my spirits.

BarbPA, BarbG, Syn, 2Cute, Terri and Thin were all very nice, funny people. I am so glad that I got to meet them in person.

Today, was a very laid back day. I slept in and then did some cleaning, and a lot of sifting through mail. I was determined to just take it easy. Tomorrow will start at the gym and then more cleaning. I am going to try and tackle the office/guest bedroom. That is definitely going to be a several day challenge. I can barely fit in it to sit and type this message.

Food is still not very good, I got to figure out how to regain control. Hopefully, it will happen soon.

Well, I got to go. Andrew is waiting for his bedtime stories and won't let up.

Night all.

Susie

Evening ladies!

DH is off on a trip so just me and the dog. I've been lazy so far and have no plans to accomplish anything. I didn't sleep well last night - DH yelling at the dog at 1:30 had something to do with that - so I'm wiped out.

I did slog through 16 minutes on the stationary bike. Yes, I wussed out 4 minutes from my goal. As soon as American Idol is over, I'm taking the dog for a walk. He's been staring at me, trying to intimidate me off the couch I guess.

I have kept to my food plan again today.

Speaking of American Idol. What happened to George? He used to be so good; now all he does is bop up and down. LaToya is good and Jasmine is fairly good tonight too. George, Fantasia and John are due to go.

I'm going to go change my shoes so I can get outside for our walk.

Have a great evening!

Hi Everyone! Trying hard to recouperate from a very looooonnnnnggggg drive!

And of course, I had put off a bunch of jobs that should have been done last week and Monday. So today was jam packed full of jobs to complete. Lots of paperwork now.

Honey stayed home from work today because I am getting a new kitchen floor installed. The people came at 10:30 this morning and were gone at 2:30. Now they'll be back tomorrow. If they'd put in a full days work and start earlier, maybe I wouldn't be tied up two days in a row.

Well, my dears, I know this isn't much of a post, but I've got to get the paperwork done and hit the hay.

Love ya bunches.

Weigh In Wednesday! Even with my weekend I am into a new decade!!! Weigh in this morning was 289! First time I've been out of the 290s in a very long time. Maybe the tide is turning, or maybe it's the new motivation comming off the chick meet!

Kat: We have subscribed to "lifestyle gourmet" (which used to be ZONE DIRECT) It is prepared meals delivered to our house every morning. We have all three meals and 2 snacks a day. We chose the 400 calorie meals and the snacks are 100 calories each, making a total 1400 calories a day. This is the first time we have tried this particular service, but we have used one called "Diet Gourmet" in the past. We seem to like this one better, maybe because the new hasn't wore off yet. It's a little pricey, but the convience is worth it to us. And considering we ate out most nights, and every day at lunch it's not that bad. And this way we are guaranteed not to over eat, and it is a well balanced meal every time. And yes they are really good. This morning we had whole grain pancakes w/ turkey sausage, and SF syrup. Really yummy.

Well time to get ready for water aerobics, just wanted to share my good news of the weigh in!

ps. I've already checked out the price of plane fare to Detroit so I'll know what I'm trying to save!

Good Morning Ladies!

It's a sunny/cool day here - perfect day for a walk with the dogs after work! I had a nice acupunture session this morning and now I am trying to get some work done, but not before I catch up with all of you!

Syn - WOW! You had quite a streak going at the casino. I'm happy that you won back all the money I lost - at least I know someone good got all my $! I was so happy to read about your admission of joy and excitement from your e-mail/phone relationship! You deserve that happiness!!! Yes, we will still tease, but it's only because we love you!

ralphmarie - WELCOME!!! Sorry, I would have said that sooner, but it's taken me a couple days to find the time to sit down and catch up on the threads. You have found a wonderful support group here and I hope to get to know you.

Lucky - I was relieved to hear that you didn't fall off the "huge *** green ball". I have an exercise ball but I don't think it's the right size. I may try to find a new one - I have a coupon for the sports store - maybe a good idea for my lunch break today. Then I can share all the fun ball stories! Honestly --- we tried to find a good man for you while in Tulsa. Next year you'll just have to come with us and help pick one!

Pat - I hope you got some rest after your long work week. I know what you mean about the laundry - mine is piling up!

BarbG - Thanks for the info on the computer software. Congrats on your loss!!!

Terri - Your plan with DH and weigh-ins sound good. It's so much easier with a support system like that. I just need to give my DH a swift kick in the butt!!! I know you will make that 25 pound goal!!! Keep up the good work!
I'll have to say last night was not the best American Idol. I just don't think the music was fit for them. George was awful - and, yes, a lot of bopping around!

Melissa - Did you have the whole cat shaved, or just the butt??? Sorry, had to ask! I hope you are doing well. How far is it to A.C. for you?

Lisa - WELCOME!!! Sounds like your yard is lovely. I'll admit - I broke down and hired someone to clean up my landscaping beds and lay fresh mulch. Now I should have some time to plant flowers and pretty things up.

Steph - Welcome Back! You were misssed! Congrats on your recent weight loss! Are you up for a trip to Atlantic City to meet up with us?

Kat - The smoothie sounds yummy! Perfect weather for bike riding - have you had time to get out there?

Mary - Where is your post? "Thin where is your post" doesn't count. I hope things are going well for you!

Susie - I bet your boys were happy to have you home! Did you decide to take the rest of the week off? I hope so, you need some time to yourself.

Crystal - Glad to hear things are going well for you - hopefully this week won't be too terribly busy for you.

Thin - Hopefully they will put in a good day's work and finish up your floor for you today!

2Cute - Are you still at your sister's? I hope and pray all is well.

Ok you East Coast gals, when are we going to meet up again? Atlantic City sounds great to me!! Who can do it? Kat, Michelle, Me, Steph, Melissa??? Who else is close by????? When shall we do it?????? Sometime in May????

I hope I didn't miss anyone! If I did it's not because I don't love you --- just had way too much to catch up on. Now I really need to get to work. Talk to ya later.

One other thing I forgot to mention.....

For those of you that haven't tried it, I highly recommend Propel Water! I had never tried it and Thin brought some this weekend and now I am hooked! It has 10 calories per 8 oz. but also has vitamins. I am still trying to dring lots of plain water, but Propel is a great little addition to the water!!!

Just thought I'd share.
