  • Hey Jen,

I know that it must be disappointing not to be at that 100 pound mark but you should be so thrilled to have 90 pounds gone. And to have only 30 pounds to go is fabulous. I wish that all I had to go. You can do it. You just have to get your focus on eating the right things and keep at that bike. You can be there by the time your DH gets home.

2Cute - Sorry about your suckey day. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care of yourself and get some rest.

I didnt sleep worth a crap last night so I'm being a slug this morning. I have to get up here soon and go to work and have a very busy day ahead. Which is probably why I didn't sleep well.

    Have a good day!
  • Good Morning Chicks!
Woke up with a whopper of a headache today. Yesterday was my first day in a very long time with NO caffeine the entire day, also 2nd day following South Beach, so I know the headache is just temporary. DH is back home and I cooked his breakfast this morning to get him started on SB - I think this is going to be more work for me than him! Once he gets use to it I'm sure he'll get more independent.

Terri - It'll be a couple months before we can actually go through the IVF procedure - we go back to DHs urologist on 3/12 to get all the blood results and schedule the biopsy. When they do the biopsy they will remove as much sperm as possible and freeze it. At that point I will start injectable fertility drugs and go through egg retrevial. In the meantime I am going in for several pre-IVF tests for blood work, ultrasounds, and a few other things I can't pronounce! We still have a long way to go and the odds of it working the first time are only about 35%, but it's better than no chance at all. My head is spinning from all of it!

2cute - I hope you feel better soon!

Jen - Don't let the scale get to you - look at what you have accomplished thus far!!!! Believe me - when I lose 90 pounds I'll be shouting from the rooftops!! You have so much to celebrate!!! Just keep up the exercise and stay away from the junk food and the rest will come off with time. Take it one pound at a time!!! You can and will do this!!!!
  • Hi
    Hello ladies,

Haven't had time to post recently, so please forgive me.

Stayed the same at weigh in on Saturday. I know that since it was my TOM that that is why, however, I really wanted another loss. I will definitely see a loss on Saturday though.

Day 26 OP! I can't believe it. 3 1/2 weeks of being good. A record for me. I even bought my son and dh pizza last night for dinner and didn't eat any of it. Yea for me!

My brother is doing ok. A few broken ribs, fractured ankle, a contusion on his arm and a bruise on his head. Car is totaled. He will be off work for several weeks, as he is a postman and can't really walk right now or lift anything.
    Keep the prayers coming....

Work is stressful as always, but I am feeling more in control since my food is in control. I also see myself being more organized at home. Interesting....

Well my training class is beginning, so I got to run. Will try to catch up on reading the posts.

    Have a great day.
