When you have had a very very busy itinerary over the space of a few days, this can cause problems in various directions. This may mean that meal planning has not been possible, regular eating times has been impossible, and maybe access to low calorie meals is just no where to be seen. Don't think that things are blowing up in your face, don't think that all your hard work has went to waste.
I spent 4 long summers working in the US of A and I can tell you this.... when you are in your car driving along trying to find somewhere to get food fast..... Subway or a sandwich making restaurant is never there when you need it. There will be a MacDonald's, BurgerKing, KFC, Wendy's or Pizza Hut. These are the types of foods that make you think that there is absolutely no turning back....... SAYS WHO???
Imagine you eat a KFC twice in the one week, these include large fries and a large soda. As long as you add in a couple extra 30 minute walks and some reduced calorie days in between, this should cover the fact that you were not able to plan these meals.
Imagine you have a work or family night out and you go to an Italian restaurant, you even have 2 glasses of wine. Add 2 extra one hour workouts (which involve actually sweating) and reduce the calories you eat for the rest of the week by just 100 calories and that will bring you back on track.
There is always a way to fix the moments that we are not able to plan for, but only if you fix it asap.
Be strong!
Be willing to fix the downs when you are on an up!
Remember that this is not a diet, this is a complete change in lifestyle, it will not happen over night.
Slow and steady wins the race!
Love for you all.
