Default Getting into the 200's ?

Hi Folks,

I am a long time 3FC poster. I am 29 pounds away from being in the 200's. I am finding it to be a struggle. I have felt discouraged lately. it has been a long journey for me and I am sure many others. I am hoping other people that are in sight of 200's or anyone who wants to would join me in this thread. I am not sure if I want to make it a getting to the 300's challenge, a chat thread or what. Any suggestions? Is there interest in this topic?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Dee

Active, I feel your struggle. The long haul is the hardest. I turned that particular odometer last year and I'm hoping not to go back, but I found a "getting out of the 300s" thread over on the 100 pound club forum, and it was actually helpful to me. Short term goals make it easier to focus.

You are SO amazing, though: 145 pounds down! Wow. Maybe you should throw a party when that turns to 150? So much success, and if you've been maintaining, that in itself is a huge, huge accomplishment.

Good idea, Active! I just made it into the 200s in November, but I'm ready to be supportive if you want to make a new thread. Or you could just join us in the January Chat thread: there are some gals there who are also tryin' to make it out of the 300s!

Thanks for your support ladies!

Congratulations to both of you for getting into the 200's. That is what I am hoping for. I found the getting below 300 thread in the 100# club. It was back a couple of pages. Hopefully it will remain active. These next 30 pounds feel like forever!!!

Vortex - I bought myself a piece of jewelry when I hit 100 pounds lost. It was a sterling silver piece that would normally not be in my price range. Unfortunately, I already bought my 150 pound reward at Christmas time!

I have already planned to take a colleague of mine out to a favorite restaurant (one that is generally our of my price range) Don't worry, I always get the salmon salad. I mostly like to go there for the beautiful esthetics. Really!!

Thanks again ladies,

Dee
