Great challenge idea. I would like to be down to 273 by Christmas. Maybe 270 if I drop this extra gain (I am assuming maybe 1 -2 of actual fat in a week and other is Aunt Flo and sodium).
I too have a wedding goal, only for next year =) I get married in June and am hoping to hit 230 - 240 by time I get my dress fitted. I like this idea, a nice long-term goal! I used last week as my start since you did in the OP, and have decided I would like to get to 212 - 30 lbs sounds like a nice challenge!

What a fab idea! I'm normally terrible at sticking to these, but I'm quite annoyed at myself for slipping in my weight loss recently, so I'm up for the challenge.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding, Nightkatt (and greetings, fellow Kiwi!) My goal is to be at 227 by Christmas. I want to be down below 220 by the end of January, because I desperately want to go horse riding but I'm currently too heavy, and what better way to celebrate summer than with a nice long horsetrek? Right now that I have caught up with everyone lol ... I would like to put forward a couple of ideas.
1 - I will keep a track of everyones goals and post them updated each Wednesday which will hopefully give everyone time enough to update their stats, it will be good to see the total our Xmas team has lost as a group ... as well as how well everyone is doing heading for their targets :) 2 - Would love everyone to take a before and after photo to be able to post when we get to the end of our challenge ... I would love to see a gallery of everyone ... 3 - Xmas card exchange - if you think its a good idea maybe we could put together a list of everyone that wants to participate and I will message that to each member that is on the list and we can share Xmas cards So let me know what you think of the ideas :) |
