I was out with the dog this am and I didn't take my cane. My knees are better already and my back withstood the 10min. or so just fine. (I usually can't stand for more than a few minutes without my back starting to hurt.)

That's a big deal to me.

I have mentioned before about the seatbelt fitting... well today I noticed that there was a gap between me and the steering wheel... I thought "wow, I can move the seat up!!!" WOO HOO!!!

It's the little things that make you smile!

I'm in the middle of my first week of losing all of the weight I've sadly gained back in the last couple of years, but with a good series of 5 days worth of eating right and exercising, I'm happy to say that today felt easier to wake up and get out of bed than the normal groggy feeling I've grown accustomed to.

I'm also excited about this site, I just joined today and it seems like such a great place to get some support and know I'm not the only one!

I weighed the same today as I did a week ago, but for some reason when I looked in the mirror today I noticed my face is "less fat" then I remembered it being

mccull - Isn't that a great feeling? I will notice things like that or clothes fitting that didn't before.

Here is something I noticed the past few weeks I can wear shoes that I could not wear before. I know it seems kind of small but it is a big thing for me because I have had to wear sneakers for the past 2-3 years and now I can wear some of my sandals. Yay!

I've seen people write about how their shoe size changed (one person went from a shoe size 10 down to 8.5. I don't remember how much that person lost)

Thumbs up

Wow, I would love to go down a shoe size.

No victories here to talk about as of late ... I've been plateauing for a year. So I guess my victory is going to be that I have been more consistent about exercise this week, and making some small changes to clean up my diet.

Teamhappy: Cute name!

Lass, I'm happy for your success! For me, there is a strong, healthy psychological component in being able to do things I couldn't do before. This is why I don't get sick of yard work and long walks.

And, HAPPY FRIDAY!

I just wanted to say today I tried on a pair of jeans that have been skin tight for a couple of years (when I could fit into them)... well today I put them on and they were roomy... I had a couple of extra inches in the waist... SOOOO EXCITED!!!

After not logging my food for 7 months and regaining 40lbs+ (and exceeding my previous high weight by 10lbs!), I got back on the wagon...this will be my last time starting from scratch!

An excellent NSV, indeed!

I was in a hurry yesterday and just grab a pair of pants to wear to work. Last year, they fit perfectly but yesterday they were sooooo big and loose that I was seriously worried that they were going to fall down. And they had no belt loop either. Luckily I made it through the day but I realize that those pants were going into the donation pile today as they are beyond being "too big"
