Awwwww Iamtheglue, I'm so sorry about your rings. Have you thought about posting on craigslist with a lost and found request in case anyone finds them? Also, it's really sad to think about but someone who finds them might try to sell them online or bring them to a pawn shop.

Any time I lose something I pray to St. Anthony for a miracle to find whatever it is that I lost. Sounds silly but it does work sometimes. My heart is broken for you.

That is really awful. My boyfriend gave me an emerald necklace and I couldn't imagine losing it. If I mislay it, I panic until it turns up.

In the 40's, my great aunt lost her wedding ring in her garden. 5 or 6 years later, she was pulling carrots, and one came up that had grown THROUGH her wedding ring! She was very happy to have it back.

elvislover324 - I had never really thought of posting an ad. I just assumed if we could not find it, no one would. I did however ask everyone I knew if they had a metal detector but no one did. That is a good idea, though!

Radiojane - that is so awesome about your great aunt! I bet she was so happy. I would be happy if mine turned up in some crazy place, but I have no idea where it even fell off. I just looked at my hand and realized it was gone.

I have a watch my husband got me just before he left for Iraq the last time. I thought I had lost it at Walmart. I panicked! I was retracing my steps and crawling around looking on the floor and when a person who worked there saw what I was doing, they started looking. I had an older man who went in the parking lot and looked under the cars with me. There were several people helping me look & I never found it. It is an expensive watch & I thought someone may try to pawn it so I put an ad in the paper & offered a reward. But it was actually my oldest son who found it, under the seat in our truck! The clasp on it broke and it had fallen under there. He said "do I get the reward?" lol And yes, I gave it to him.

I have always had skinny hands and wrists for a person my size. My current ring size is 6.25 ... my ankles used to be the same way. That was actually one of my big wake up calls... when I saw I had gotten fat ankles. I hope they are the first to go!
