Default Set Back due to this ugly cold! HELP

So I've had a little set back due to being sick. I caught a really nasty cold from my baby nephew and it has set me back with exercise. With food nothing has changed much. My question is what do most of you guys do when your sick to make you feel that your still OP even if your sick?

If your food is good, you should be fine. When I'm feeling sick I usually switch and eat alot of soup, and other 'comfort' foods, so I just pay attention to calories. There's no reason to stress yourself with too much exercise when you have a cold. One week off will not hurt you. It's the week after.

So commit to taking care of yourself today, and getting back to it when you feel better. OR find an alternative that helps you feel better - walk a bit, at a slower pace, just to keep moving.

Oh! and beware of liquid calories like OJ. Have nice hot tea instead. Ginger or lemon zinger or something. If you must have OJ, get a lower-calorie alternative and give yourself permission to get rid of it when you your symptoms improve.

I have to agree with mnemosyne on this. Just watch your calories, and take it easy. The less stress you put on your body the faster it will heal and the quicker you can get back into your full routine.

I would much rather be sick for 1 week and not gain or lose then over do it and end up sick for 2 or 3 weeks feeling miserable.

Hope you feel better soon.
