Default Small Victory Jeans - what was your first sign of weight loss?

So I bought a pair of size 28 jeans this summer that felt like they fit in the store and to my horror they were too tight. I eventually purchased a size 30 that fit but lately they have been falling off my butt so I thought "hey I wonder...." and tried the size 28 that I had only wore once. They fit sooooooo nice! It was the first sign of my weight loss and I am so excited! What was the first sign for you?

Thats so exciting =D...One of the best feelings is knowing that all your hard work is worth it. Congrats.

My first sign was I stopped huffing and puffing while walking up stairs...My first physical sign was when my size 24 pants(that were so tight I should have been a 26) kept falling down.

Hahah. Engrid - I had a similar situation. To be honest I'd lost a bit over the last couple of years and had been wearing some size 30 jeans (my regular pants were 32s and maybe some 34s, though. The jeans were really stretchy). Anyway, I had made it to about 330 lbs, and my jeans were close to falling off. I was going on vacation and needed new jeans. I ordered 3 pair of jeans 1 size smaller from the same company, and threw in a size 32 dress to get a particular discount.

Sadly, I could barely get any of them on, and this was after losing weight. I sent all the jeans back and kept the dress because it was so inexpensive, but it, too, did not fit and was way too tight.

I managed to lose another 10 lbs before vacation, and discovered a stash of old jeans, including some size 28s that I had put away, well, years before, and they fit! Nicely! It was really, really lovely. My next sign was when I realized I needed new work pants because my were giant, and was able to buy some size 26s. I still wear those now, but they are too big and will be replaced when I can comfortably wear size 22s.

Congrats on your Victory Jeans!

I had a size 28 pair (UK) of jeans that were tight and I knew I needed a new pair when I had taken them in 6 inches and they were still miles too loose!
Am now a 20/22 as my tummy is still a bit disproportionately big but have a couple of size 18 tops and trackie bottoms and even a size 16 top which isn't tight and looks great...isn't sizing wierd?
