HEATHER ~ I agree with ^that^ too. I think that heavier people should never go below 1500 calories -- that's why I was asking him if he was tracking how much he was taking in. 1800-2000 would be a good range to begin with, starting at the top end becuz men need more calories than women do. He would still lose well on that amount; and he doesn't want to lose too much muscle either, I'm sure.
BTW, I started at 2100 calories a day, and lowered it a bit as I lost weight.
