Default Feels like a second puberty!!

I started going to the gym about a month ago, and for some reason, it almost feels like I'm going through puberty again, only it's worse than the first time!!

I've noticed that it takes relatively little activity or heat to make me sweat. Before I lost the weight, I could tolerate the 90 degree days (like we've been having lately) and didn't sweat nearly as much as I do now. I find myself putting on deodorant 2-3 times a day because it screams and runs away.

I've also been getting pimples. When I did actually go through puberty, I didn't have to deal with body acne and what pimples I did get were generally on my forehead and were hidden by bangs. I was scratching my back the other night and found several pimples and made my husband come look and he said that he counted 10 or more on my back!

I'm beginning to think that my fatness was holding in all of my hormones and now that it's going away, it's releasing them back into my system, effectively causing a second puberty.

Is this just me, or has anyone else gone through it?

Estrogen is stored in fat, so that could be what is happening.

Lightbulb your sweating is probably causing the acne

Especially on your back I would attribute the acne due to the sweating. Try the Neutrogena anti-acne body wash. Its intended for bacne, etc. and gentle enough to use daily. And you can get a back scrubber to use in the shower. Hope that helps!

This always happens to me when I start working out again after a hiatus (random sweating and overheating). I have always assumed it was a sign that my metabolism was turning back on...

Yes, fat holds estrogen! I always get a little wacky right before/after a fat loss woosh. The hormone flood does things.
