I struggle with having someone to talk, to bounce ideas off of, and to just complain that i cant have icecream!

I echo the response of the others.....anytime you are struggling this forum is amazing and I have begun to understand myself and my issues with food so much better than I ever have from reading about the struggles of others.

Hi my name is Laura. I live in Tacoma, WA. I'm just starting on my weightloss journey but I know I can do it this time. Having support is important. I'm 35 years old and I'm doing weight watchers and I have lost 10 lbs as of today. Yay me!

Hi! My name is Kim, I am from Maryland, I made a decision to start IP when my friend at work lost 40 lbs in 4 months. I was actually considering surgery!! I am 48 (on 7/11) and weighed in at 250. I have struggled w/weight my entire life. My friend briefly explained what the diet entailed so I decided to cut down (almost out) any sugar a week prior to my IP Seminar (actually on my birthday last week). I still have not been able to start the program because the coach is out of town so I wont be able to start until sometime this week (still to be determined). HOWEVER, like I said I decided to cut down myself and I have lost 15 lbs in a week on my own!! I cannot wait to offically start IP, I am excited because I believe I wont suffer the 3 day grumps that some are saying they have because I already HAVE NOT CRAVINGS!! I passed over my Ice Cream Cake, Bagels and Donuts this morning, I actually am shocked that I no longer am drawn to these things even when placed in front of my face!!
