  • SHOOT! This should be #298 and I don't know how to change the thread #.
Any Mods out there that can help????
  • Judythanks for making the new thread.

Went to the pool today, 20 minutes in we were asked to get out of the pool due to fouling. Sigh if children are not ready for the big pool why set them up for failure?? Use the kiddie pool.

    Well got 20 minutes.

    Good night.
  • Good morning!

Judy our mods are on vacation or up to their eyes in paper. LOL! I guess one will be along sometime that can change the #, if not we will just go on as if it is right.

How are all of you doing?

Can't remember the user name, sorry, but welcome back and I think the other board just vanished and they are under a different title.

Have a great day everyone. Ruth
  • Been a busy week here with kids. Hope everyone is doing good. I am eating right just not getting enough exercise.
  • Good weigh in at WW this morning. Lost 1.8 lbs! After last weeks 2/10ths of a pound I deserve this.

Just finished my AquaFit class. Tired and a bit sore but joints are looser even if they hurt a bit.

Deb ...... come on. Get moving even just a little bit, and each week add a bit more. You can do it.

Hi Ruth, hope your son is feeling better every day.

Everyone have a great day and remember:

Don’t put food in your mouth when you already have food in your mouth!
  • Good morning everyone, How are you?

Those of you that believe in prayer, please say one for my sister Martha. She is 85 and for the last 3 or 4 weeks she has been having health problems. She has to go for a transfusion next week. We don't know what the problem is yet. The blood is going somewhere.

My son is improving daily it seems. He is getting cabin fever. LOL! I think he is about ready to climb the walls. He is high energy type person and this is really getting to him. I am afraid he is trying to overdo it too. (takes after his Dad).

Enough about me. How about all of you? I am down about 9 lbs since doing the low potassium, BUT, that is not into new territory! Just 9 lbs of what I gained back. I may make it to a new low yet. Would be nice!

Have a great day all. Ruth
  • Morning all - it's so good to be home. We ended up in the airport for about 9 hours yesterday. The pups were so happy to see us - well, I guess we were happy to see them also. We had a good time - ready to get on with the business of springtime around here - hope to get some planting done and the pool open this weekend.

I gained 13 pounds - YEP - 13 pounds in a week. I know some of it is water but food choices were not good at times. We walked a lot - one day we walked 7 miles.

Thinking of you all - prayers and hugs to all.

    Stay strong!
  • Welcome home Carol. Thanks for fixing the thread #. Hopefully a lot of your gain is fluid.

    Ruth prayers for your sister.

I'm on a roll this week. Eating and exercise have been good! Going to try to keep it together day by day.
  • RuthYour sister and son are in my thoughts today. As are you. And congratulations on losing 9 pounds. Yeah!!!!

carolI remember being so mindful on vacation and coming back to a 7 pound weight gain. I lost 11 the following week. Yes likely you gained water weight.

    JudyYou are rocking it!!!!

Not doing so great on my end. A bad few days. I will walk today.
  • judy- Im getting exercise..chasing kids outside daily and yard work. Just no formal exercise. Hoping next week to start back walking daily.

ruth- i will pray for your sister!! WOOHOO on 9lbs!!!

looks like we have rain coming today. We need it bad!!
  • Deb, thank you for the yahoo, but I am thinking that was a lot of water!

Thanks to all of you for the good thoughts for my sister. They went ahead and did her transfusion today, also a bone marrow test. Keep the prayers coming please. I am so worried about her. It hasn't caused me to go running to the fridge yet. My own health is at stake with this low potassium diet, so I will do it!

Thanks again to all of you. Ruth
  • Hello everyone,

    Carol, welcome home!

Have a wonderful op weekend everyone.

    Ruth
  • Ruth - you need some sleep my friend - 4:12 a.m.??? Please take care of yourself - rest included.

Yesterday was not POP but much much better. Love the scale whooshes when the travel water starts to leave.
  • Hi! Remember me??! I can't believe how busy I've been. I'm working on trying to get the eating at least under control and get more moving in. Last night I went into Chicago to visit a friend and at least got to walk from the train station. More exercise than I've had in a while.

Work is still nuts but I'm hoping it will calm down in a couple of weeks. A girl can dream.

    Let's all stay strong.
