But, really, that's all the BMI is. A height/weight chart.
For women: Below 18 is underweight. Between 18 & 25 is normal. Between 25 & 30 is overweight. And anything over 30 is obese.

I don't thing it is an estimate of your body fat. It's just a ratio, comparing your height and weight, and doesn't really tell you anything about body fat, except of course, for most of us with high BMIs, it's because we have excess fat.
