Smile Hi!

Hello everyone! I've just joined today and am so hopeful from all the posts I've seen. I'm weighing in at the heaviest I've ever been (350). I'm planning my wedding and future and realize I've not loved me enough. I'm scared about this journey but like I said am hopeful. I'm not sure exactly what plan I'm going to follow but my goal this week is to drink lots more water. I teach and I want to be a good example. Right now they see me drink tons of diet pop. It's a hard habit to break. I hope I can stay motivated, my willpower has been weak at times in my life! If anyone wants to be buddies that'd be great! The more the merrier!

if you have a hard time letting go of the flavor of your diet sodas, try the Mi0 drink flavor drops. they are awesome, and not very expensive. you just put a few drops in a bottle of water

Welcome!! Loving oneself is one of the best reasons and motivators for lasting change, at least in my opinion. We are worth it!

Hey ! I'm new too, started here yesterday - looking forward to sharing our journey.
Soooooo agree Nancy, I spend no time or effort money on myself. Being fat allows you to cop out of looking good/loving yourself?

So, the water is going great! I need to exercise more and watch my portions. We were out all weekend and ate out a lot but I was trying to make healthier choices. We went to ColdStone last night and I got a sinless smoothie instead of ice cream so I was pretty proud of that. I AM DOWN A POUND! Not as much as I wanted but it's a start!!!!!! As long as I keep going and keep loving me I'll be ok!

Hey if you are like me it is small permanent changes you need to make. Water is a good one I am also trying to avoid soda too. It's a toughy convenient but I know once I get use to not having it regularily it won't be so 'easy' to drink. I've given it up afew times :/ just need to stick to the quits!
