Default When your parts aren't where they used to be
I glanced in the mirror a week ago and realized that my favorite jeans just don't look good on me anymore. I shrugged it off. I figured I'd used too much fabric softener and they just weren't looking crisp.

A couple of days later, I reached to scratch an itch on my belly and missed. I tried and missed again. That started a round of poking at my own gut in confusion and realized that it really had shrunk.

My excuse is that I was half asleep and not that I'm a moron.

I had my gallbladder out in 1981 when I was much smaller than I am now. Once I lost weight, the old scar kind of migrated south. Now new doctors can't figure out what kind of surgery I had. Doesn't help that they no longer do big scars when taking out a gallbladder.
