Default Conservative Couch to 5K

Hi. I'm new, AGAIN. I started here at the first of the year and was losing weight and feeling good. Then I got knocked off track with life stuff and ended up gaining it all back, plus some. I was doing the Conservative Couch to 5K and it was working. So I'm starting up again. I'll post my weekly goals and then update as I complete them. I will also be doing Just Dance on the side.

Anyone who'd like to join me is welcome to post here.

Week 1

Thurs: 0/15
Sat: 0/10

Is the Conservative Couch to 5K an actual program online? I have a friend who has tried to do C25K with me and has really struggled. A modified version would be great for her! Lemme know if you have a link to it.

And good luck! Running is so much fun!

I have been doing something similar to the conservative C25K, but I do it for 45 minute stretches because I am trying to always get at least 3 miles in. Just this past month I increased my running intervals. In comparison to the C25K, I would say I am at the end of month 3 or beginning of month 4. I have been looking at 5K's in my area and have not picked one yet, but my goal is to find one for the end of October or beginning of November. One of my biggest issues is that it is so hot here, so I have been using the treadmill indoors for the past few weeks, and it seems to be a bit easier on the treadmill than when I am outside and I don't want to fool myself into thinking I am more ready than I am. I think I still need to get outside a couple days to keep myself in check.
