Default Sore Feet!! Please help...

Was wondering if anyone had any tips on healing sore feet.
I've been walking for 2 weeks now about 20-30mins a day and I'm really enjoying it. but over the past 2 days my feet have been really sore and I'm unable to get my daily walk in.
The arches have blister type bumps on them and the sides feel like they have glass in them.
I don't want to lose this motivation for walking, and it's the only exercise I can really do. I live in the country and there is no local gym.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!

That used to happen to me too. Turned out the problem for me was my shoes. They were too loose. They had a slight bit of slide on my foot, which was fine for around the house or down the block, but for real walking, it caused major problems. I have a very wide foot, so shoe shopping in my town is really hard. Eventually I tried on a pair of chuck taylors (the old fashioned high top ones with the white toes) and after walking around in them all day, I have no more problems. I've thrown out all of my other shoes since then. They are sooo comfortable!
I would suggest trying some different shoes. It may help.
Until then, try some antibiotic ointment and bandages, even if it's to cushion the blisters. And keep up the good work! It will get better!

Better shoes! Walking is 1.5 x your weight in impact on your feet. Running is 3x weight. I wear runing shoes even though I walk because I want the extra cushion.

I like New Balance. Here's a shoe fit guide.

You can also rub Body Glide on feet, inner thigh, sport bra area, etc. to prevent chafe type injury.

The only shoes I can use are new balance. Also make sure you are stretching, that helps alot.

Glad new shoes help. Even new, shoes that fit correctly do not need to be "broken in." No toe smashing, bits falling asleep, etc.

GL with the walking program!
