Since you have a Wii, I would recommend Gold's Gym Cardio if you like boxing. The game is just a bunch of different boxing training/mini games, but I still get a good workout without being hard on my knees. I found it online and it's not nearly as expensive as other Wii games.

I do Zumba 3 - 4 times per week. Depending on how much you put into an hour long Zumba class you can burn anywhere from 400 to 800+ calories. I love it. Zumba has helped tone me up some and definitely increased my endurance and cardio strength. I've maintained at 165 for 4 months now, thanks to Zumba. Quit the workout, Join the Party! ZUMBA!

I wish I could join a Zumba class, but in my rural area, there are no gyms that offer that type of thing. Everyone keeps suggesting it so it must be a good workout though.

I might have to check out some of these Wii games that everyone is talking about.

Thank you to all that have responded!

If you get the oxygen channel they have yoga at 6am est Mon-Fri and it is a magor workout (called INHALE) and they have all levels. You may want to check it out.

I jog 3 days a week and walk the other 4. I also do strength training at least 2x a week. I can't wait for our outdoor pool to open next month, I'll probably add laps 2x a week. I also love the WATP tapes but unfortunately I have the older versions on VHS and don't have a working VCR, I need to get the DVDs.

Good Luck! Glad to have you here!

If you really are interested in doing Zumba, you should check out their dvds. I've never done them but I'm sure they are just as good... I just got back from my hour long Zumba class and my heart rate monitor says I burned about 800 calories!

I took my first Zumba class a few weeks ago, while I was on vacation, believe it or not. I loved it and I wanted to order the DVD's so I saw the infomercial and went online and submitted my info. The screen disappeared, and I have received no email or info from them. When I call the toll free I can never get through. I went online and saw they have a order status link and it says they have no info on me. I don't know what else to do, I don't want to go through the billing again and then end up with a double bill.

im sorry to hear that OrganizedChaos. What number did you call? was it 1- 866-649-5817? the only reason why i would think you couldnt get through was possibly you called during the off hours?

"Customer service is available Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time, excluding national holidays."

Maybe you should give them a call again and see how it goes this time.
i remember i called them once and got through.

I ordered my ZUMBA a few weeks ago and love it. =]
