Happy Dance here! Just got back from WI -4.8 lbs over 3 weeks. I am .2 lbs away from a 40 lb loss. I was worried but I've been good about counting every single point and this week ..... Are you reading this Georgia???..... I planned my meals every day and stuck to my plan. It was hard a few times but I just grabbed a glass of water and something to keep my hands busy and told my head to "go to h*ll, I could not be, and really was not, hungry." Writing down the entire days meal plan made me very aware that hunger was not the issue.

GEORGIA: Hope you hand heals really soon. I'd love to try rowing. Problem is once I got down on to the rower I'd never be able to get back up w/o help.
Stick with WW. It'll work if you follow your points schedule.

CAROL: Thanks for cheering me on. I need lots of pushes. Are you eating enough? I know you know that if you cut back too much you stop losing.

DEB: Our snow is melting but it's still too cold for signs of Spring. <sigh>

HEATHER: Glad to see you posting. Missed ya.

Off to throw a toy for the dog. She's driving me nuts.

Judy, I'm happy to report that as of 8:45 p.m. I was only 1.5 points over my daily alotment. For me, that's a victory! So, on that note, I'm going to bed before I think of something else to eat...

By the way, getting up off the rower seat, which has been a HUGE Herculean effort for me as well, does get easier as one builds up their quads. Notice that I didn't say accomplishing that looks more elegant, however.

I am glad to report that I had a POP day! I ended up having to grab a slimfast for lunch. My granddaughter is here along with the 3 kids I keep.I just never found time to sit down and eat. I also ate some grapes along with the slimfast. For dinner last night I made my plate and ate after feeding my little angel. I have discovered I eat more if I eat while feeding her.
I had a rash and hives yesterday and Im praying its from the new lotion I used the night before. I use to have rashes and hives alot. Hubby is afraid its from the new furniture.
Judy- GREAt job on the weight loss!! Way to go!!
Carol- how are you?
heather- great job on the workout and extra walk.
geo- sorry to hear about your wrist problems. keep working at those points.

Geo - can't help with the elliptical - it kicks me back - I can manage 5 minutes. Do you like being outside - I find it much easier for me to get myself outside and walk. I had forgot just how much less boring it is until this last week. Something so wonderful about the fresh air.

Judy - weigh to go! That would have been tough for me - waiting 3 weeks to WI. You are doing so well and being consistent. Is your pup ready for spring too? Mine have a bad case of cabin fever for sure (like their mom).

Debbie - glad you've been able to get outside a bit - seems like that's my theme today. Send those warmer temps my way - can't wait to see those buds.

Heather - thanks for stopping in - we're behaving mostly.

Ruth - hey - how are you????

Terri - can llamas sense warmer weather on the way?

Barb - are you settled back in? Any cruise pics to share?

I took Judy's advice and checked out my BMR - looks like I'm right on target calorie wise to lose 2 lbs a week - maybe there will be a whoosh come official WI this week. It's Friday so it's my workout like a madwoman day - I think I'm acclimating to it - next week, weather permitting, I plan to walk to and from to add to it!

Tonight takes us to a rubber chicken dinner (I think) for local city board members. It will be a good time to see people I don't see often but have known my whole life. Will be nice to see DH appreciated for the time he gives to the city in his role.

Breakfast tomorrow will celebrate our parents 63rd wedding anniversary. We'll all meet and spend some time together - I'm so proud of them. My plan is good choices - buffets and I haven't done well together - my plan is fruit first and a good visit.

Getting ready to head out to the stores and get finishing touches for the livingroom and lots of healthy foods. My cabinets are getting bare. My crisper is bare..not even a piece of lettuce or carrot left in my house. I cant wait to fill it up again.
Lunch is at hubbys request to try out a new restraunt. Living in a one stop light town its a big deal when we get a new restraunt in our area. I will count out my chips and stick with salsa. I may even try and talk hubby into splitting an entree with me. Dinner tonight will be a HUGE salad.
Our temp is suppost to soar to near 60 today so I plan on being outside alot this afternoon. Looks like it might be time to get the sunscreen back out.
Hives are better and a fine rash is left behind. Still unsure what caused it. Its just one of the joys of having sensative skin.

I had a big slip off program last night. I tried to blame it on my not having any fresh veggies in the house but honestly there's no one and nothing to blame but me. The evil Judy came out and said I could eat fried chicken, fries (I haven't had them since I started WW). Then I had a bunch of sliced pepperoni and bread and butter. Would have eaten a bunch of chocolate too but I didn't have any in the apartment.

This morning I repented. Shopped the outside aisles at the grocery and restocked. I'm hoping it was a one time thing. Had a long, "you are not hungry" talk with myself and am back OP and preplanning today.

Sh** happens. You shovel it away and move on.

DEB: Your living room must look absolutely gorgeous. Be proud. Good job. Hope you got the shopping done and had a nice lunch with DH. Enjoy that salad.

CAROL: How'd "workout like a madwoman day" go yesterday? Was the chicken at dinner rubbery? It's fantastic that your Mom and Dad are celebrating 63! It takes perseverance and love to stay together that long. It's too late now but one step in handling buffets is use the smallest plate you can get your hands on and DON'T go back for seconds.

GEORGIA: How'd yesterday and today go for you? I thought of you this morning as I wrote out my dig myself out of this hole, meal plan for today. Hope you wrist(?) is healing so you can get back to rowing soon.

TERRI, HEATHER, VALE, BARB, RUTH miss ya.

Hope everyone has a sunny, challenge free weekend.

Today is my grandsons baptism service( an hour away), then we are leaving before his meal to hit hubbys sisters 50th bday party in another town. We will spend most of our day on the road today. Im not sure how to plan for food today.I heard hubby mention mcd for lunch..so grilled premium classic for me and no fries. We will snack on finger foods at the bday party so I am going to try and make great choices and count that as my dinner.

Yesterday we ate at the new mexican steak house. It was wonderful!! I was truly amazed and please at the price and the freshness of the food. They even offer lots of seafood choices and even grilled catfish. They also have veggies as sides. IM PUMPED!!! I told hubby it will be a nice place to go eat and stay on my diet! If I could just ask for NO CHIPS!
Some of my water weight is finally leaving. MY rings are getting lose again. Not sure what triggered the water weight gain so bad.
have a great day everyone

Judy - take a deep breath and move on. Don't you wonder afterwords - what just happened to me? I swear it is times of insanity that takes over - or self sabotage.

Quiet weekend - normal errands and chores - DH and I took the pups for a nice long walk out by the river - was a beautiful day! DH is off to work this evening and I've got a book to befriend.

Ready to see some movement on the scale - maybe soon!

Today's been good. I'm back OP and the temp finally broke 40 and made a run towards 50. Snow's melting but icy so not easy walking off pavement.

My joints are killing me so I'm taking it easy today.

If it's nice out where you are get out and enjoy it.

It's late and I should be in bed, but I wanted to check in really quick before that.

I weighed in this morning. Down by 2lbs. While I've been over points most days this week, three days were on target, so that's what I'm attributing to my success. I see where I need to really work on what I'm eating and how much. I'm looking at the last week as an experimental week. Fiber needs to go up, I need to cut back on protein and increase veggies a lot.

My wrist is feeling better, but still not ready for the rower. I need to keep the wrist brace on for another week, maybe two. I have to get back to bouncing on my FitBall in order to burn fat.

I'm headed for bed. See you tomorrow!
