Default Not doing so well...

Well I hit a hump and gained 40lbs back of what I had lost. I started last Nov. at 466lbs. I was down to 380lbs and yup I am now back to the 428lbs. I am so up set with myself I have gone into such a yuck feeling. I was feeling good and so active with out those 40lbs, that I am not even sure what happened but I am back to lose for good this time. I have never had a issue with high blood pressure until the last 2 weeks. I have been taking it a lot and finding it scary high. I know if I do not lose the weight it will be deadly. So I am here in hopes that I can find the support I need and have a place to come to when I feeling alone or just need to vent.

Thanks!

Hi erinkman1, its all about attitude and you have it in spades. Forget about what you put back on and think about how much you are going to lose!

I think most people here can relate to what it feels like to gaining weight back; it has happened to many of us at one time or another. I know it doesn't feel like there is any good news right now, but I think there is: you didn't gain everything back, you caught it, and you are doing something about it now. Don't beat yourself up about it; it is just a minor bump in your weight loss journey and you are back on the right track.

I wish you the very best as you move forward. I look forward to learning of your progress!

Cheers,

J

We CAN relate! It IS frustrating! But maybe there are some things you can learn from the regain so that it doesn't happen again!!

Feel free to join us in our weekly thread, or the exercise thread!! Or both!

*HUGS* Heather is right, totally relate! I have periods where I regain weight and it pisses me off, disappoints me, and then at some point it inspires me to keep on trucking and I do.

Those bumps are there and navigating them is key to getting ourselves healthy. We can't expect things to always go smoothly because life just isn't that way. I try to keep that in mind when I'm struggling, even though I sometimes ignore that thought, I do try to regain my focus on bettering myself and not punishing myself.

We can all do this, little by little. *HUGS* Hang in there...brush yourself off, and get back on the wild ride.

Thanks everyone! I will tell you what.... I forgot how much time I used to spend in the bathroom because of all the water I drink. Yup, was up all night. But I do feel good today after drinking nothing but water yesterday. Look forward to joining in on the weekly thread.
