Welcome back, ladies!! It's good to see you!

And if you're looking for accountability with exercise, we could use your help on the exercise thread! We're looking to break our 2007 goal! We're still recording minutes!

gggirls, I received your PM an replied; however, the system won't let me send messages yet. I'm too new.

The shorthand answer is there is no resolution to my family situation and I sometimes struggle with how to be appropriately involved. The job is still ok, but the company is in financial trouble and there have been massive layoffs and a pay cut for the survivors.

I'm hanging in though, and all in all I'm doing well.

Thanks for the note. You are looking FABULOUS.

Battle!!!! So good to see you back! How's things?

Sue, glad to see you back too!!!

Cyn, you'll have to come and visit Sue and I here in Washington. Anytime!

I'm slowly getting more customers. Went downtown and left brochures everywhere and then walked some of the neighborhood to get more out there. Came home and had a couple of messages on the phone for orders. YAY!! And now people are starting to order beads again too. Things are picking up!

Weight, not so good. Still not losing. I do so well the first part of the week but by the time the end of the week rolls around, I screw up. So it sort of even outs to where I don't gain, but it seems like such a waste.
toodles

It is great to come back here and to see everyone. I have missed you and have thought about how you all were doing.

----
I have to say...today would be a day for me to have a binge. I had to work most of the day. I have a M-F job so working Sunday is unusual. Having fallen into old patterns in the last year, this would have led to giving myself back in food what my job is taking away. Instead my eating was...not bad. Calories right where they should be, and choices were mostly healthful.

It feels good to know that I am truly taking care of myself today instead of doing something self destructive.

I was also pleased today because, having fallen off the exercise wagon and gotten horribly out of shape, I was almost up to the full walk and pilates session that I used to do regularly. In 4 weeks I have regained a lot of my stamina and muscle strength.

It took me over 3 weeks to work back into a reasonable eating and exercise plan. Working up to my current plan, which is still quite gentle, was the only way I could get back to where I needed to be. My body and mind had to adjust.

I am going to see a friend next weekend who I haven't seen in about 6 months. 6 months ago I was probably 40 lbs lighter. He is the only person close to me who ever approached me about my weight in a concerned way. It will be hard to face him, not that he will judge me. I am judging myself. I'm trying to turn it around and remind myself that while I fell, I am now taking care of myself again. And at least when walk around I will not be huffing and puffing from the exertion.

Good evening ladies. Thank you all for the warm welcome back, it feels so good to be back. You all have also been in my thoughts.

This weekend has been crazy, as you all know my DH is a youth pastor so we are with the kids a lot. Saturday night we had a pizza night with corn hole and smores, then Saturday we had another pizza party with another youth group and Today was a baby shower for a good friend. To add to it we kept our Niece Kiannah this weekend. She is such a good baby but a lot of work for someone who doesn't have any kiddos yet. But it was a wonderful weekend. We loved having KiKi around. She is such a joy. She is 11 months old and almost has walking down. Today in the nursery she was walking from one side of the room to the other, on Friday the Most she was walking was 4-5 steps. She is soooo smart!!!

My brother had a baby in February. His name is Huston and they live in Elizabethtown which is almost 2 hours away so I don't get to see him much buy we are going to visit them this weekend I can't wait!

I plan to start planning my meals and counting calories this week. I really need to loose the weight. Zack and I so desperately want children and I believe that a lot of the reason why we haven't gotten pregnant yet is because of the weight. Please remember us in your prayers in these areas of our lives.

I better head to bed now. Y'all have a great week!!!
