I have always loved the Non scale victories.
So for me today is getting dressed to my shoes and planning my food.

Wow, I've had a bunch lately. I started going to the gym on Tuesday March 3 so tomorrow will be my 2-week anniversary. My goal has been to go 6 out of every 7 days and assuming I stay on track tonight and tomorrow night, I will make goal. This is a big deal for me because I am a deeply lazy person and I lost these first 98 lbs without lifting a finger, exercise-wise.

Relatedly, my recent NSVs are:

I haven't lost a pound since starting the gym but I took measurements on 3/1 and again today. In 2 weeks I've lost 1 1/2" off my bustline and 2" each off my waist and hips. That's almost a size in 2 weeks!

And people are noticing! My next-door neighbor stopped my outside on Saturday and demanded to know how much weight I've lost. When I told him "right at 100 lbs" he almost fainted. He started grilling me for my methods and he's thinking about starting Atkins himself. Another neighbor yelled across the street to me this weekend while I was walking the dogs to tell me I looked great.

And, yesterday I helped a friend move a heavy piece of furniture up 3 steep flights of stairs. I didn't break a sweat, I didn't get out of breath, I didn't need to stop and rest but SHE DID and she's a super-healthy thin, fit jock type. This is HUGE!!!

Life is good.
