I'm not what others have said cause I haven't read all of the responses, so sorry if I'm repeating anything..

For the sweating (or smell associated with sweating), you can put deoderant in those spots where you are sweating.

For the skin rubbing together and getting sore, try using Gold Bond Medicated Ointment. If you can't handle the "tingle" or "icy hot" sensation.. or the medicated smell (haha), try A&D ointment, or even baby rash ointment. Seriously though, I think for that, Gold Bond seems to heal it the quickest and give the quickest long-lasting relief.

Hope this helps?

PS do NOT be embarassed about this! It's NORMAL and very VERY common!

Kim thank you for your response. I just tried the deordorant recently, and yes is does work. I tried the spray for it is easiest for me to reach those hard to reach places. Thank you again for the input. Hope you are doing well with your weight lost, please keep me posted. I'll be looking for you.

I know you've got lots of advice already, but I have had some 'apron' issues too. I use gold bond powder and change my underwear 3-4 times a day to make sure it's always clean dry cotton next to my skin. Also, when the skin first started to sag, I got a skin yeast infection all over that area and was given cream after cream by the doctor, which none worked. Then a customer at work and I were talking and she mentioned that she had had the same issue and used something called BioK to clear it up, I was at the point where I'd try anything, and it worked, within a couple of weeks all was cleared up (and it helped with some digestive issues I was having from metformin as well!). I now take the pill form every other day and have not had an issue since.

Great work on the weight loss! Oh and I have one of those never home trucker hubbies too!

Feistycat,
Biok, alright that is on my list as well and which ever on works the best wins. Can you believe this, I am having a contest between creams and sprays and all kinds of good stuff. You ladies have really stepped up to the plate to help this sister out. Thank you.

Feistycat, tell your hubbie to be careful out there and stay safe.

good job Aggie on the weight loss so far your doing great!!!!!

I get chafing in between my thighs when I wear nylons or when I do a lot of walking .. there is nothing worse then chub rub! also the crease of my belly fat right above my private area gets really red and raw sometimes from my belly fat hanging over it.... i know this sounds weird but I always lift up my flaps and air them out after the shower! i use a fan i can aim at all the places or even a hair dryer like was mentioned before... it looks silly but it works.. then I will put on a little of the medicated gold bond powder, I have also used a&d cream but that didn't work as good as the gold bond powder... just try and let it air out as much as possible even at night while laying in bed just lay there naked for a little while and lift up all your flaps..

I do this every night....lol.. it sounds so funny.. i cant' wait for the day I won't have to do this stuff any more!

also if you plan on excerising or wearing nylons I have found that wearing tight fitting shorts like spandex type shorts and then putting the nylons over the shorts or putting my sweat pants i exercise in over the shorts my thighs dont rub together! I have chaffed my inner thighs so bad before they bled from wearing nylons..! ugh it hurts so bad!

Hi there!
For chafing, you HAVE to get something called BARRIER CREAM. It is a clear, non-greasy, water-proof silicone based cream that runners like my DH use to prevent thigh chafing during exercise. This can be found at any sports store, or in a drug store for diaper rash, but you HAVE to get the kind that is a SILICONE CREAM. This is because it is like putting a layer of slippery teflon on the surfaces that rub together -- the surfaces will slide over each other because of the coating used instead of chafing together. And it is sweat proof, too. Long distance runners swear by it, and I've found that it really works well for me. Lets face it, things are going to rub together, so lets make it at least tolerable...

Kira,
That sounds like a plan. Than will work great when I am at work and then when I am at home, some of the other stuff plus airing out as lots of the ladies have stated. Thanks.
