300 + Weekly Thread # 1183

WELCOME!

We are a group of individuals who weigh or have weighed 300+, or near there. This group was formed to provide a place for others like us to find support, inspiration, and hope. We are aware of the distinct problems that come with weighing over 300 lbs.

We want to invite everyone (roosters as well as chicks!) to join us in our journey. We share laughter and tears, heartaches and fears ... joys and celebrations. We also share what works for us and what doesn't.

We know the thread can move very quickly, and that people often make "personal" remarks and keep a number of conversations going. Please feel free to contribute even if you can't make personal comments all the time.

Finally, we also have several extra threads going on simutaneously such as Monthly Challenges, Weekly Weigh-ins, Recipes, Bios, Photos, Exercise, Info for Getting Started and more. Many of these threads are stickied at the top of the page. Please feel free to check them all out.

We have found this thread to be more than just a support group... we have found it to become a home. We invite you to join us.

I know you'll all agree that we are really thankful for the free services here at 3FC. The sisters offer all of this support and information with no charges to us. There are a couple of ways though that we can help out.

If you are thinking about buying anything at Amazon, why not help out 3FC at the same time? You can do this by clicking on the button for the Amazon "store" in the upper right hand corner of the screen on the PURPLE tool bar. A portion of your purchase price will be given to 3FC by Amazon. It doesn't increase your price at all, but it does help out 3FC. You can use any of the Amazon.com links that you see on the site in order to help contribute to the site.

Also, BTW, in case you didn't know it, you can view the message boards "ad free" for a minimal charge. I think it's $15 for 6 months. A very small investment to be rid of the annoying ads and make your pages load quicker.

There have been some concerns expressed by the powers that be about copyright infringement. So please, if you are directly quoting someone else or printing an article in whole or in part, please give credit where credit is due!!!

dogpal 11-03-2008 07:21 AM

Oops! I see that I misnumbered this thread. Please change it for me Heather if it is possible. Sorry ladies. I will be back later to post. It is 4:15 and I have to leave in 15 minutes for work. So, reading all the posts and have some comments that will have to wait until later.

Have a wonderful day everyone.
Blessings,
Annie

Jacquie668 11-03-2008 09:55 AM

Hellooooo peeps. I hope this will be a better week. So far, today, it has been good. :D Doing a lot of thinking and I think I'm at that stage in the weight loss journey where you need to stop freaking out about hanging fat and excess skin issues and just do it. lol. Maybe it is me gaining confidence, something I used to have a long time ago.

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and hope things are good! :D

ToniLight 11-03-2008 10:05 AM

Good Morning all my Lovely Online Friends! I am doing pretty good these last few days with the OP way of life. I am finding I do better if I have plenty of calories for dinner and hopefully enough for a snack in the evening. If I start running low in the afternoon I tend to freak out, "Oh no, I can't eat, I think I need to eat, I must eat" mentality. It is really hard. Does anyone else do this?
I am going to bake a chicken for supper and make a huge pot of soup for the rest of the week. It is easier for me to eat soup every day than to think of what I could eat and how many cals and will I have enough for the day....
__________________________________________________ ____________________
Edit: Now that I read the above, it doesn't sound at all like I am doing "pretty good"

I am new here,, starting weight is 387.5 pounds, ugh!! I am also pregnant, 26weeks along and have lost some since becoming pregnant....

Needless to say, its been a rough last few months but i am here and looking for support. My doctor says it is perfectly fine for me to lose some weight while pregnant , since i am so overwieght to begin with... My baby is measuring right on track and i am sticking to counting calories and getting in some form of physical activity every day.

Ratkitten 11-03-2008 05:22 PM

Greetings Peeps!

Welcome Jay and congratz on a nicely growing baby. :)

Annie, learning something new is always fun for me. Sometimes I get frustrated when I realize how much I don't know and thinking I knew more when I hear someone very talented play! Not sure if that makes sense, but I'm hanging in there. I bought some blues compilations and will get some traditional bluegrass stuff too.

Hugs to all! I stayed OP today by the skin of my teeth and the day ain't over yet. Bleh!

Luv,
Rat

DMPLS 11-03-2008 06:07 PM

Not sure if I mentioned this recently...or not....well if I did bear with me my mind is old! LOL

the teacher I work with was clearing a counter in the classroom and found a misplaced photo of us from a walk thingy we did with some other teachers....my first year I worked with her.....Now mind you I lost around 50lbs and gained back about 20 of that....the first year I worked with her.......I've been at this job going on 4 years now.....anyhow she pulled it out and started shouting and making a fuss we thought she found a spider LOL then she made me and the other girl we work with come over to her and take a look at the picture........She said "WOW! I know you are losing weight and I see a difference but since I see you every day I don't think about what you looked like before....and this picture WOW you have lost alot of weight!" I need to get a copy of the picture and scan it in so you can see the difference from then to now and so I can remind myself what distructive eating can do!!!!!

well today I accomplished clearing all the dirty laundry to the basement to start washing.....vacuumed the stairs and the main level of the house......then mopped the hallway & kitchen.........then ran out for errands for over an hour.....

other than that I've done nothing else! I need to go to the store and get some stuff for the house......FOOD!!! LOL otherwise we will end up going out to eat and one our budget can't afford it..........and two our waistbands can't afford it either!!! LOL

talk to you all tomorrow!

CatherineM 11-03-2008 08:45 PM

Rat-Yeah, I’m glad that the left over food doesn’t just get thrown away. That would make me mad. I’m trying to concentrate on my schoolwork, and feel like I’m getting my head above water. A paper that is worth a third of my grade was due the day after the funeral, and I got a really bad grade on it. I know I shouldn’t be too hard on myself, but I just hate feeling like my brain doesn’t work as well as it used to. I used to play in a bluegrass band in college, but where I’m from we call it Red Dirt music.
Zelma-don’t let it get you down. It’s just a blood chemistry thing like diabetes. You may have to deal with it the rest of your life, and there’s no shame in it.
Brandnew-Baby steps. It takes 6 weeks to 6 months to get rid of a bad habit or add a good habit, so do one thing at a time. Find what works for you, and just never give up on yourself.
Cyn-I’m going to school mainly to prove to myself that I can. Technically, it is for a Masters in Theological Studies. I spend all my time with 22 year old seminarians. At least my husband doesn’t have to be worried about me running off with one of my classmates. Even the professor is a priest.
Toni-I try to never let myself get hungry. I actually go nuts when I get in that space.
Sharon-You’re welcome here anytime.
Annie-With over 6000 homeless here, and snow predicted for this week, anything we can do to help them is important.
Bernice-I also will eat out if I’m not careful about having food around the house. I actually braised 20 lbs of chicken breast over the weekend, and measured them into portions into ziplocks for the freezer.

Well, ladies, I’m off to work on my next term paper. If I get it down in the next two weeks, I get to go to Banff with the hubby.

brandnewme 11-03-2008 08:55 PM

Annie, how was work today? I was so tickled reading about you and the leaves! You're such an inspiration to all of us!

Cyn, I dread Mondays too. It's not even that I get any more rest or down time than during the week - I think it's just the idea of having to get up and go to work and start all over again. Hope yours went better than mine did!

Jacquie, I hope your week goes great! The skin issues are something we all face, but as I'm sure you've been told before, the skin issues are far better than the way you felt at your highest weight. It will be okay. Somehow, it all works out in the end!

Toni, I've thought about doing something like baked chicken breasts cut up on a salad for lunches all week, but I tend to get bored with it. I used to buy lean cuisines for lunches, but those get expensive and even the better ones still have tons of sodium. What kinds of soups do you usually make? And, it's pretty normal to start freaking out with the head hunger. It sounds to me like you're doing pretty good!

Sharon, sorry to hear about all the problems you're having at home. If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to PM me and I'll give you my e-mail address. Sometimes it just helps talking to someone who is there only for you!

Barb, you do look great!

Jayme, welcome! Sounds like you've done pretty well, despite the bumpy road. Congratulations on the baby!

Rat, I've always loved music, and watching others play is always great. I played in band when I was in school, but I've forgotten most of it at this point. I think it's awesome that you're learning new stuff!

Bernice, sounds like you've been busy with the house! I hate moving, but there's a very real sense of accomplishment once you get in the house and get everything unpacked. Congrats on the changes since the picture was taken!

As for me, I did manage to eat breakfast and lunch, and am still deciding what I want to eat for dinner. I went shopping and got fresh veggies, so I may make a salad and have some chicken with it. I bought a few things for lunches, and I think I will boil some eggs and just grab a couple eggs and have a slice of toast for breakfasts. I'm not a breakfast person anyway, so it can be 'boring', as long as I'm still managing to eat! I caved and drank half of a soda today, but I have also had about 60oz of water (compared to the maybe 12oz I had been having) so I am counting it as a win. I'm feeling pretty okay tonight!

brandnewme 11-03-2008 08:57 PM

Oops.. Catherine, you snuck in while I was posting! Don't be too hard on yourself for your grade - our minds don't quite cooperate when we're in stressful situations. Good luck on your next paper.. I'm sure you'll do well! Thanks for the encouragement, and as always, you're a great source of inspiration for me!

gggirls 11-04-2008 07:05 AM

Good morning Peeps - I'm off to vote but wanted to wish everyone a wonderful OP day.

Move your bodies, drink your water and SMILE.

Hugs to all,
Carol

Ratkitten 11-04-2008 07:37 AM

Greetings chickies!

Catherine, I'm prolly talking to a wall when I tell you not to be too hard on yourself about your term paper grade. You are too much like me to listen. I know I did the same thing when my grandmother died while I was getting my masters degree and I have no head injury problems to attribute it to. BTW, it was the only B I received for a class and it was my primary concentration (immunology). *sigh* I received my Masters in microbiology in 1988, but I still vividly remember the incident. Red dirt music.. I love it! Sounds like the name of a great bluegrass band. BTW, I looked up some bluegrass band names and some were very clever.

Hugs Brandnew! I'm glad you are posting daily :) I'm going to try to do better too.

I'm off to vote too!

Luv,
Ratkity

jimaterry 11-04-2008 09:32 AM

Hello everyone. I have been posting mainly in calorie counters as well as anything in the general chatter lol, but i have been snooping at the 300 threads a lot lately and it looks like a great place to be.
A short background on me.. Im 44.. weigh over 300, and so tired of it. My ultimate goal is to be down to about 180, but im setting much smaller ones on the way.
I am american but i live in england right now with my wonderful hubby (who is thin and can eat what he wants, but i love him anyway lol). i look forward to getting to know you all and i hope its okay i just kinda jumped in here:)

dgramie 11-04-2008 12:49 PM

Went to vote early this morning. They are saying we are having an extremely high turn out so far today. I dont care for the paper ballots that have to be filled in and then feed into the machine. I like the reg machines better!!
I had yesterday off from kids and today just have one so my routine is OFF!! Food has been good today so far...
hugs to all

dogpal 11-04-2008 01:06 PM

Good Morning all,

I had to be at work today at 4:30 and worked until 9ish. I went straight to vote after that.

Jayme: Welcome! I'm so happy that you are here. Congrats on your baby coming.

Rat: My most favorite person to listen to play guitar is Willie Nelson. I just get so relaxed when I hear him play. So much so as a matter of fact that I have his album, "Red Headed Stranger" in my stereo all the time in my room and often play it when I can't sleep.

Bernice: I can't wait to see the picture. Sounds like you are still very busy.

Catherine: My parents used to go to Banff once in a while when they lived up here. I hope that next year Joel and I can drive up there to see all the wild roaming elk in the streets that they told me about. lol. Have fun.

Brandnewme: I love you new avatar. You are such a doll. Great job drinking all the water! Work is going well. We are expected to do 650 movies per hour and I am always pretty much at 747 per hour every day so they like me. lol. When I got to work this morning the movies weren't there yet from the post office and I was so proud of myself because while everyone else was sitting at the break table having donuts and coffee, I walked around and around the inside of the building. It is a huge warehouse. They ladies eating coffee and donuts were making fun of me but, who cares, I am doing it for me and my health.

Well, I am thinking about going to get my nails done. I didn't do it for my last reward at weight loss and I am considering doing it now. I'm not sure if I want fake nails though because it makes it harder to do things with. Okay, I just talked myself out of it. lol.

Blessings all,
Annie

dogpal 11-04-2008 01:08 PM

Carol, Debi, Rat, Jimaterry: You guys snuck in while I was writing my "book" lol.

Have a super great day and Jimaterry welcome aboard!

Blessings,
Annie

NuevaVida 11-04-2008 01:34 PM

Hello Everyone,

First, thanks for the support, PM's and prayers. This weekend was hard but thanks to the support I get here, my RT local friends, and the benefits of the last 2 months of taking care of myself really contributed to me making it through.

Secondly, I'd like some advice from those of you who work out at home, especially. I want to add strength training to my routines. Upper body and abs are a piece of cake - between the weights, resistance band, and stability ball, I have an unlimited set of exercises I can make more challenging as I move along. The problem is lower body. Due to knee and ankle problems and the fact that I weight over 300#, I can only do a limited number of lunges. I don't have access to a gym, so there go the machines I've used in the past. I was hoping that the various videos out there would help but the ones I've seen are mostly things I cannot do - too much strain on the knees and ankles (jumping, any number of variations on lunges, etc.). So, in short, I'm looking for good lower body strength training exercises I can do from home that are also low impact. What do you all do?

2CtheREALme 11-04-2008 02:26 PM

Carol & dgramie, I look forward to getting to know you all as well! This group of ladies is great and it feels good to go through this journey knowing you have support. When I went to workout this morning, I said, okay, don't forget to post and let the ladies know! LOL! It would be nice if we could have a group event yearly so we could actually meet one another, take pictures, and just share encouragment with each other. Of course, we would go out and celebrate all of our accomplishments, but we'd be good;)

I'm glad to hear that everyone is getting up and going out to excersise their right to vote! It is a priviledge that a lot of people don't have.

Today, I went to the gym and got in 55 min on the treadmill including the cool down; and 20 minutes on the weights. Today was legs! My butt was burning today! LOL! But, it's a good burn:D

2CtheREALme 11-04-2008 02:28 PM

Okay, I had to make sure I subscribe to this one and not go back to the other one.

Mi Mi

ToniLight 11-04-2008 02:29 PM

Brandnewme- I usually make chicken veggie with a little brown rice thrown in. I use low sodium broth and tomato sauce for the broth. I throw in cut up veggies, adding up all the calories of everything as I go. At the end, I weigh my soup and have a "By the ounce" Soup. Usually around 14 - 16 calories per ounce. I only use the breast meat since that is lower and I absolutely love meat. I would make a horrid vegetarian. Sometimes lentils instead of rice. I can eat it everyday and not get tired of it.

Ratkitten 11-04-2008 05:31 PM

Welcome Jima and 2C.. (sorry if I missed ya earlier 2C). My one brain cell fills up and sometimes misfires. hehe.

Good news (with fingers crossed): my knee seems to be better! Still no bicycle riding and now the time change has made me only able to ride on the weekends. Alas.. all for my health, right?

Annie, you're a 747! Dat's a powerful jet plane! Sorry, random ramblings tonight as I relax at home.

Hugs to all!
Rat

gggirls 11-04-2008 08:16 PM

Hiya Peeps - not feeling very talkative tonight - the time change is dealing me fits. I did make it to the gym tonight - it felt good to be back after a week on the road. We've experienced some work stress the last few days with reduction in force/layoffs/elimination of many positions. I am good but it is hard to watch this happen.

There is some good news - I released 2.25 pounds this week. This was a validation for me that even on the road I made some good choices. Next time I'll see if they serve veggies too!

I'm fixing Anne's Orange Pork tonight - it's in the crockpot and ready to be tended to.

Hugs to each and every one of you,
Carol

Ratkitten 11-04-2008 08:23 PM

GGG. lub your new avatar!!

w00h00 on loss .. they reallly do serve veggies out there on the road? hehe.

Luv,

brandnewme 11-04-2008 08:30 PM

Not much time, so no personals today. Just wanted to say that I am still doing fairly well. I have some planning issues I need to work out, but I knew I'd have to tweak everything as I went anyway so it's not really a big deal. I managed to make a whole batch of chicken breasts last night (some for soup, some for salads, etc) and that helped immensely. Just gotta keep going!

2CtheREALme 11-04-2008 09:08 PM

Brandnewme: Try to stay positive. Don't focus on all the things you haven't or can't do, but, take the time to pat yourself on the back for the things that you have done (Zelma taught me that) Take the time you need to organize what you'd like to do, and then, just take a step and do it. We're here for ya, and we have your back!

RaKitten: No worries! It's all luv here!

GGG: Congrats on the weightloss! Any pound loss is considered a WIN!:carrot:

NuevaVida: I have the Taebo lower body workout; his bootcamp version. It's a great workout; and I weight over 300lbs too. You can do it at your own pace. Also, if you buy one of the gym balls, it comes with a lower body workout sheet and that thing makes you feel the burn. Pilates for the lower body is good too!

Dogpal: Did you enjoy your nail treatment? It's good to treat ourselves as we go through these changes.

Jimaterry: Welcome!

Mi Mi

CatherineM 11-05-2008 12:16 AM

I didn't vote today, primarily because I voted weeks ago. My absentee ballot had to go by sled dog and carrier pigeon, so I had to do it weeks ago. There were 12 people on the Florida presidential ballot. I won't tell my husband who I voted for, and it's driving him nuts. Everytime he asks, I tell him who I voted for for county sheriff or school board. He cares about politics much more than I do. The only politician I like is my baby brother.

I've decided not to go to Banff. It's just too much pressure, and I'd rather focus on my schoolwork. I know that sounds wrong on so many levels, but at least I'm allowing myself to know what I want to do, and then doing it. Acting instead of reacting. Novel concept for me.

azcyn 11-05-2008 01:31 AM

Carol: Love your new avitar! You look smokin girlie!

Brandnewme: I am SOOOO HAPPY that you are posting again! I know its hard sometimes. There are times I want to get on here and be nothing but NEGATIVE!...I try and find something to be positive about. :) ((( HUGS)))

MI MI: Welcome! AND yes post post post!! We love hearing from you!

I voted today with hubby...after parking in a fire lane..standing in line for 1 hour and 20 minutes..having the poll worker NOT be able to find my name although I said 3 times it should be right by hubbies..and then going to work with a minute to spare...it sure feels great to live in such a great COUNTRY! :)

I am going to finally turn in...my mind needs the rest.

dgramie 11-05-2008 08:07 AM

Morning all!!
Having my smoothie while i catch up on things. Scales seem to be staying the same pretty much. I so want to be out of the 30s...but I guess i am going to have to work harder at it!!
Did my pushups today maxed at 22. My arms felt like jello. I can really tell its working my upper body!! I think it will be awesome to say i can do 100 pushups in a few weeks!! Now maybe someone knows the link to a set up or crunch challenge....lol
carol_ you look amazing!!!

dogpal 11-05-2008 12:08 PM

Good Morning all,

I woke up this morning with a horrid sore throat that I am trying to talk my body out of. We are leaving in a few hours, when Joel gets off work, to go down by Boise to visit my family. I feel like a little kid at Christmas. I can't wait to get there. My Dad lives on the Snake River and has 50 acres with some trails and dirt roads. I will be taking my bike with me so I can get in some exercise. We are driving Joel's truck because my Dad is giving us a frig for our garage that we need to pick up and I'm sure anything else that he can shove into our truck. lol.

Carol: I love, love your new avatar photo. You look amazing and hot! congrats on the -2.2 this week! Way to go.

Mimi: I'm glad that you are doing a bit better. I think that if it hurts you to work out at home maybe stick to something you can do like walking, if you can until you take some more weight off. That is what I did when I was 510 pounds, I stuck with what I could do until I could do more. Hugs.

Mimi2: I did my nails myself and my toes. I am pretty good at painting a french manicure look on my toes. I put my socks on when I thought my toes were dry but alas, they were not. lol. So, I will be re-doing them. lol. Great job on all the workouts you have been doing.

Rat: I was first confused by your 747 comment then I was cracking up. I think you and I would have some fun together. You have the same quirky sense of humor that I do.

Brandnewme: I do that with chicken breasts at least once per week. If you have it in the frig to eat then you will stay away from other stuff! Great job planning!

Catherine: A vacation to Banff may sound super to the rest of us but, if it will stress you out then it won't be a vacation. Hugs sweetie.

Debi: I hear ya. I finally dropped a pound today, finally. I am at 231 now! So, 2 more to go. Hopefully I will get enough exercise down at my parent's house to get out of the 230's forever and you will too.

Well all, I need to go make Joel some egg salad sandwhiches for the road. He requested them saying he doesn't want to stop to eat. I boiled the eggs earlier and they are getting cool now. I still need to pack for Joel too. I swear I always bring wayyyy too much stuff. Can you tell I miss my Daddy? lol.

Okay, Have a super rest of the week and weekend. If you think of it say a prayer for traveling mercies for us please. It is supposed to snow tomorrow here and we have to drive over a pass tonight called "White Bird" on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation that is a bugger in the snow.

Blessings all,
Annie

CatherineM 11-05-2008 07:38 PM

Annie-Be careful on that drive. Just remember that you don't have near as much stored fat to survive on if you get stuck. My trip to Banff wasn't so much stressing me out since we'd be driving, but I would just rather stay here, go to school, and a women's meeting. It just seems so strange to know what I want, and stand up for it. It's not like he bullies me or anything, he's just not used to me knowing what I want.

Carol-I agree, that new Avatar is great.

I'm behind on my school work and house work. I may have snow on the way to school in the morning. But I am in a great place, and enjoying every minute of it.

brandnewme 11-05-2008 09:08 PM

I just wanted to thank you all for your support as I get back in the game! It's another busy night, but I wanted to post to say THANK YOU! I am still OP, though there was a soda incident last night that kind of sidetracked me for a bit. Cutting out desserts, sugary foods, etc isn't very hard for me, but boy cutting down on the soda is taking a lot of fight! Still, a little over 1.5 (12oz) sodas isn't bad, considering the 3-4 and sometimes more I had been having.

Have a great night ladies!

gggirls 11-05-2008 09:29 PM

Thank you all for the comments on the new avatar. Sometimes I'm not sure it's really me when I look in the mirror - I am struggling with it.

Thanks for the warm welcome back, especially Brandnewme!:hug:xxxxx Do you have diet/sugar free sodas or are you 'hooked' on the full sugar versions? I've had the sugar free/diet ones for years but don't get cravings in winter, it's too cold for cold drinks! Where is WY? Wyoming? Pardon my ignorance, being a Brit it REALLY confuses me! HUGS & thanks for the email. I've a feeling I will be 'chatting' qute a bit as I'm re-joining my old slimming club, what plan do you follow at TOPS? I know it supports weight loss but do you follow w/w or something else? xxxxxxx
Carol you look so brown & healthy in your pic;), loved your pics of the wedding/dance/holiday? (I forget easily, lol:dizzy:) How do you manage to drink water when it's cold outside? xxxxxxxx
Annie will you be doing any horse riding at your Dad's? I hope you have a great time & get spoilt rotten:hug:.xxxxxxx
Well I'm re-joining my old slimming club, South Beach was getting expensive (plus I'm SO SICK of EGGS!!!!) & I want to eat with my family. I got on the scales yesterday & had a nasty suprise:o so it's time to get real & get back OP & exercise again. I had another TOM two weeks after my last one:mad:, I hope my body's not trying to 'catch up' with the three months+ I went without one!!! We have our old dog back:carrot: as he has a skin problem & has to be bathed x2 a week, my parents can't lift him, it cost £500 that's about $1,000 & we had to pay half! He had 5 biopsies over his body to check why he lost most of his fur so bathing him is a nightmare, trying to not wet his wounds. Anyway it's great to have him back, except he can't walk far now; he's 13; AND he has a "buster" collar (a 'lampshade' thingy to stop him licking/biting his stitches out)on so we're all bruised from him bumping into us and the furniture is getting bumped too! lol
Anyway I'm off to get ready for the meeting..BTW we went to a party on holiday for Hallow'en with the boys I might post a pic or two later, if I dare, lol, I'm looking so 'jowly' now,:o not for long though.
xxxxxxsharon
ps Zelma, so sorry about you feeling down, better to get meds & feel better than hang on & feel sad, life's too short to be unhappy! You deserve to be happy, those kids will be missing you, your kindness & sunny smile! BTW I LOVE you hair colour, wish mine would go that colour but I'm too grey, lol!;)xxxxxx

Morning Ladies...

Brandnewme: I use to drink atleast 5 or 6 sodas a day. Dr Pepper that is. I didnt know I drank that much til I took a nutrition class and wrote everthing down. I still struggle with soda...But I have 1 with my lunch at work, and that one actually lasts me a few hours cause I drink slooooooooow. I also have one with dinner. So while soda is evil and pure poisin if ya ask me..lol.. having 2 a day is alot better then 6. I don't know if I will ever stop drinking soda. I am not ready to commit to that. :)

Bernice:Glad your posting when ya can...I showed hubby your cruise pics..and said isnt that romantic! Maybe someday we can go on a cruise. :)

Annie: Oh no don't get sick!

As for me, work has been a big ole mess. I can't remember if I told yall but everyone has to have the PTO, days off. down to 120 hours before Jan 1. I am sitting on about 150 hours. So I have scheduled a few days off...so that makes everything get behind! SO I am trying to get ahead so I can take time off..lol.

Well I need to get going to work...:)

Yall have a great day!

Sharon - I have missed you so - glad to see you back.

I'm off to workout - a little concerned that the total body workout we did on Tuesday did not make me sore............anywhere at all. I need to work hard tonight - I want to fit a little more comfortably in those plane seats again in a few weeks.

Move your bodies, drink your water and SMILE.

Hugs,
Carol
