Morning all...

Well Arizona is staying a bit cloudy with sprinkles of rain..Oh how Wonderful!! Always puts me in a good mood.

I did horrible with food yesterday..why you ask..cause I didnt plan and bring my lunch!!!! So we..the girl a carpool with..stopped at a convience store and I got an apple and small cheese..good ok..and THE BOMB burrito...that thing was soooo nasty...I should have just ate the wrapper it came in..it would have tasted better. So I am now going to take my lunch even if it means a plain old sandwich. Lesson Learned!!

I still have yet to get to the gym..just plain lazy. By the time I get home from work I am tired..from doing what I dont know. I don't have a physical job. Everyone at my work is telling me that the Dr can give me pills to help me lose weight that is FDA approved. I don't think I want a pill...besides doesn't the FDA approve all kinds of things that are not good for us like..High FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP..LOL.just a thought.

Well all..keep smiling even when its easier to wear a frown...and drink that water!

I am trying to just hang in there today with my back still cranky. I'm hoping that it isn't because my body isn't up to my new school schedule. I know I'm pushing my physical and mental limits, but if I don't push, I'll never know what I'm actually capable of. I know all this would be easier if I was smaller, but I've put off too much of my life waiting until I lost weight. I'm going to live first this time.

Herewegoagain: Welcome to our little corner of the web. So nice to meet you. Congrats on the exericise and weight loss so far.

Angie: I hope your sinuses get better soon. Hugs. Thanks for the input on the nettie pot usage.

Carol: The seminar went well last night. I was very nervous but I managed to show the before pictures and answer questions. There were about 40 people there which was a great turn out. I may do it again soon if they need me to.

Catherine: Have fun in the pool. I want to go too. I think I will shoot for it tomorrow after work.

Vida: Great job keeping to your plan.

Debi: Sounds like a good day is in store for you.

Cyn: I hope you make it to the gym soon.

I have photos on my camera of the coat thing last night. They were taken from far away so they are not that great. I will post them once I download them onto my computer. I have to say that it was a very emotional thing to do. I didn't expect to feel the feelings I felt. I managed to get 90 pounds of sandbags on me without hurting too much. Most people were only able to do about 40-50 pounds. It is amazing how heavy even 30 pounds is. I was standing there with this extra 90 pounds back on wondering how in the world I moved, breathed, walked and just lived with another 182 besides that 90! It was so sad. I felt heavy not only on my body but in my heart and soul. Once I allowed myself to recognize the feelings I panicked and asked them to take the stuff off of me and let me out of it. It was suffocating me like. I just can't explain it. I do reccommend it to anyone who has lost even 10 pounds to cary something around for a minute or two with some weight substance to it and you guys will see. We deserve to feel proud of ourselves for loosing even a pound. It gave me more perspective that I am hoping and praying I can keep.

Blessings all,
Annie

Good evening all,
It was a long day at work. I did not get all my water in or any exercise. I am feeling like kinda blah today. Kinda wondering who I am. Just me and the young daughter tonight so not sure what is for dinner. TOM arrived, so not even hungry. Maybe we'll go light. I may check in later. Penny

Hi Peeps - pretty quiet around here today.

Annie - I'm glad you made it through last night. You are such an inspiration to me. Your story is an amazing one and your kind and giving soul is the most touching part to me. I'm so sorry about the emotions that were brought out. And - I'm not surprised at all that you were able to handle the sandbags - your strength both emotionally and physically is such a joy to share.

Hugs to all,
Carol

Hello my Peeps!

Annie, the exercise of adding weight and the coat thingie would bring the same feelings in me. You are so brave to have done this!! Remember, courage is fear that's said its prayers.

deb, thanks for asking how Im doing. I have been doing awful with food.

Dunno if anyone remembers how unmotivated and strssed I was around Jan and Feb of this year (lack of light, major work stress). Well, work stress has set me off again. I think it's time to go back to the employee assistance place to talk to someone about all of this. I did go outside mid day yesterday at work to get some sunlight (my own advice) and that helped a bit. Of course, it doesn't help that TOM is due any minute and I'm PMSing.. bleh!

Today's 9/11 memorial stuff today has me in tears as well. For the past 7 years, I've not watched any of the memorial stuff because it was too hard to deal with.. guess things haven't improved this year either. Hugs to all who are going through similar feelings and more to those who lost loved ones during that time.

Luv,
Ratkity

morning all..

Annie: you are very brave! And how exciting for you!!

Yesterday was a pretty good day with the food. I brought a granola bar for a snack instead of running to the vending machine.

At work we decided when we get out "new room" we are all going to bring in a variety of fruits and veggies for us all to share all week. I swear if they are there I will eat them. It is the "brining them in" that gets me. So we figured with us 5 and 3 more people and if we all bring just a little we will stay clear of those nasty vending machines!!

The gym didnt happen again.. no excuses just lazy.

Tonight me and a couple of friends are going to applebees...That is a big no no for me...sooo I am going to try and keep it light!

Remember to take a moment of silence today all for the 9/11 victims and their families....

We had another article published in the Edmonton Journal. Here's the link if anyone wants to read it. http://www.canada.com/edmontonjourna...1-0103bfc09ecc It's the worst kept secret that I do the writing. He's a good scientific writer, but his stuff reads like stereo instructions. Everyone likes to kid him that his writing has sure improved since he got married.

Carol: Hugs and thanks.

Debi: Great job on the eating and exercises. Nothing exciting happening today. lol.

Brenda: Super NSV!

Rat: Hugs hun! I feel the same about 9/11. When I wrote the date down this morning I stopped and prayed for the families and our country again. I watched a movie called Flight 93 the other day and I was honestly in Awe of what those people went through and their bravery. So humbling.

Cyn: Sounds like your guys have a plan for work snacks. Great job.

It is 10:14 here and I am off work. I am planning on going to a thrift store in Coeur d' Alene to see if I can find some pants that fit me. I am really needing jeans all of a sudden. Mine are falling off me and look like clown pants all of a sudden. I don't want to buy new ones if I can help it. Hopefully the thrift stores will have some. I am also thinking about going for a swim but not sure if I will have time to or not.
I hope you are all enjoying your day and moving your bodies.
Blessings,
Annie

OK - where's everybody at?

Was a great day today although I'm getting very tired of the clouds and rain. Supposed to end on Tuesday.

Annie - you are so welcome - big ole hugs.

Actually big ole hugs to all - I hope you are all safe and well.

I'm here reading lurking.......grades need to be put in and we have a new gradebook system and it keeps messing up. Tried to login from home to input grades well.......that didn't work.

I finally caved in......I picked up some yarn for the other Asst in the room to make her baby a blanket when she gets here.......I don't "feel" like crocheting one for her.....but I know if I don't she will be hurt seeing as how I made one for the Teacher in our room. I have been looking through all my patterns and even went online to see if I could find one that inspired me...........well nothing really did..........so I will make a simple pattern I have memorized "1, 2, 3 pattern" (for those that crochet count out the chain multiples of 3 + 1, then do single, double, triple repeat to end chain 1 turn. thus the name 1, 2, 3) It makes a cute little bubble and its simple to do no written pattern needed.
