Great job, everyone! SO many big losses! Makes me want to get moving even more

Great news for me, despite the 1.5-lb gain -- I am now allowed to walk around my home and office with the leg cast off -- yippee!

Woo-hoo!

I am so excited! I'm down 1.6 lbs. and this is after I FORGOT--that's right--I forgot to weigh myself this morning so this is after I've already eaten breakfast and lunch. I am so happy because I have lost this weight since Thursday when I joined this challenge and re-started my low-carb eating plan. Everyone--I know that out of all of the people that I know that you really understand what I'm going through and how this is the kick in the pants that I need to get back to the gym.

I haven't had a chance to check everyone else's weight loss or gain yet, but that's where I'm going now. Congratulations to all of the losers, and if you've gained a little, know that there's a reason and you can get right back on track. TOM is awful Annie--I remember that I gained 7 lbs. in one day because of TOM. Okay, I've got to go.

Oh yeah, thanks for all of your support as far as my boyfriend's friend goes. Luckily for me my boyfriend is in agreement with me and he actually WANTS me to be the "bad cop". I'm just worried that if I don't vent it all out that I'll try to "stuff" my feelings down again. You all make me feel so good and I appreciate everything that you've all said. One reason I don't want to take money from him is because I'm afraid that then he'll feel ENTITLED to just go in my fridge and eat whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Okay, I've got to go. I'll talk to you all later.

Hi Everyone~~

how are you all doing? I'm doing pretty good. I am still losing weight at least according to my scale so I'm very excited. I was wondering if anyone had done anything about the teams yet. And are we going to have challenges? Let me know. I, unfortunately, have to spend this lovely Mother's Day in a very hot kitchen cooking about $10,000 worth of food. I'm going to be busy as anything. I have a question--why can't people take their Mom's out periodically throughout the year instead of just showing them on 1 day of the year how much they mean? I am just as bad as everyone, but it still makes me feel kind of bad for all of the Mom's out there. I'm sure they know how much they're loved and all, but still.

So HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you mothers out there.

WOO-HOO!!

I'm down 5.4 lbs. from last week. I know it's because of my diet since my exercise has been nonexistent. It's because of this challenge. I've got to go make breakfast but I'll stop by later to make personals.

Good luck everyone!

If it makes you feel any better, my sons take me out to dinner, or fix dinner for me, several times during the year--but on Mother's Day, they make SURE that they have that day off to spend with me.

Dolfingirl, it sounds to me like all you have to do is tell him that he's going to have to start smoking down on the street, and that he's going to have to buy this week's groceries and he'll leave on his own. LOL

Excellent Gaia3~~

I've lost 7 lbs. since the challenge started too. We all rock!

Now did anyone do anything about teams yet? I've been thinking that we should just pick names and be on a team instead of trying to match weights up or anything like that. The reason I say that is because we're all in pretty much the same boat weight wise. What do you think? It might make it more fair, too. Okay, good luck everyone. I'm going off to read the board and I'm going to make another ticker that will just show my challenge weight.

Boooo Hisss (to myself....I ate too much over the weekend....) but I'm back on track today! No weight loss to report, but I haven't gained.

Has anyone heard of WiiFit? A woman in Australia on my Kitty Haven board has one and LOVES it...I don't have the Wii Console, so I've been checking out Ebay. LOL The Wii Fit runs about $89.00. I really, really hate exercise for the sake of exercise, and I think that this would be a fun way to lose, wouldn't have to go to the gym and be "looked" at, and it also keeps up with all you weight, BMI, etc. for you. It has different types of exercise as well.

Hi Everybody,

Sadly I've gained weight this week. I'm pretty sure it's because of TOM next week, but I'm still really bummed about it. I've started walking on the treadmill finally and I just wish I could get the inspiration to go back to the gym. Sometimes I feel like all I do is work and it's for nothing. I certainly am not making lots of cash where I am now working just because I want to.

Great job everyone...I'm really proud of you all. I'll be in a much better mood later on, I promise. Keep up the good work.
