Since you are a student, you can also buy an air-mattress that is very easy for transportation and it will fit your budget also.

Check with Serta or Intex if you plan to buy an air mattress....

I have a Sealy Posturpedic as well and I love it. My Dad who is about the 400-450 range uses 2 box springs stacked on the floor. Seems to be a bit more stable for him. Hope this helps.
